u	uppyday on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently went on a much needed week long vacation, needing to find a place for our paraplegic pup to stay. Better Than Home was willing and able to help make his first time ever away from us a success! They were very patient with all my concerns and questions, and with updating me on how things were going. We had a happy and healthy pup on our return, he’d had a great time making friends and was well cared for. Since he’s been back home, he’s appeared more confident and we joyfully find he is barking less at the neighbours and their dogs, as well as showing more interest and does less fear barking towards people who come over and other dogs he sees walk by the house. He’s even gone from trying to chase down our cats to happily allowing them to relax in the same room as him. Because of the effects of what was obvious positive socialization at this kennel for our heavily disabled and isolated former street dog, we plan to continue with regular stays here. I can’t thank Better Than Home enough for giving us this gift, it had previously been 3 years since my husband and i had been able to take time away together. the ability to do so and not worry is invaluable. i would 10/10 recommend this kennel to others.

Everyone there was warm and friendly, very accommodating, and quick to respond to our multiple emails and phone calls. They cared about my dog like their own and were very attentive to his needs. Normally our dog is quite anxious and doesn't take to new people, so I'm always worried when I leave him, but here he became one of the family, which meant that we could visit him and then leave him at the kennel without any guilt or worry. Love the videos where you can watch your dog run through the woods and romp around with all the other dogs! We will absolutely use them again!

They also post weekly videos on their Facebook page so we can see her. My kids love watching her play with all the other dogs. We love it there so much all of our extended family use their services as well. Highly recommend for all pet owners!

Jacqueline was very helpful and informative while I was preparing to book Cleo in, she made the process easy and painless. After the first night, I wanted to check in on Cleo, although I was worried about being a nuisance. Amanda quickly cured that. She was kind, honest and reassuring with her responses. She not only made me feel better about checking in with them, I felt completely confident that Cleo was in the best hands! Amanda, you go above and beyond and I appreciate that. Everyone I spoke to or dealt with at Better Than Home was fantastic! I will definitely be using them again. Thank you, team!

He is intact and not much social with other dogs. It was first time for us leaving our dog alone and making him stay with strangers. He gets very nervous around new people and at new places. But he had great time here and we are so relieved that we can rely on this place to leave our fur baby when we travel next time. Loved how Jaidon kept us up to date via text messages and sent us our dog’s pictures regularly. We would highly recommend them.

What sold it for me was they paid so much attention to the dogs she was able to tell me multiple occasions of my dogs behaviour and how he interacted!
