R	Ry McDons on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the deep fried cheese curds with a hot sauce...Not too bad! Corn bread ?%. Meal was great tho mac and cheese was fresh and creamy goodness, onion rings are great quality. Brisket was very good , serious smoke going on here.
R	Rich Smallwood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Service! My wife and I arrived from out of province (heading home from essential work) and were looking for a meal that wasn't fast food. We ordered while sitting in their parking lot and the food was ready very quickly. I ordered a massive burrito with perogies - YUMM! My wife ordered a pulled pork grilled cheese - yum! Both were better than fast food but my wife said the pulled pork needed some sort of sauce to make it really good. My meal needed to have more sour cream for how many perogies there were. The bacon and onions on my meal were great and the food was hot. We sat in a parking lot to eat since we couldn't eat inside. Would have been a 5* review with those small changes... and we did eat everything! We would definitely stop again!
R	Rastaman Yo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Racist server and rude bartender. We came here to eat and play some pool. The server keeps ignoring us. She walked in front of our table multiple times but never asked us if we needed anything. We were hungry and thirsty at that time, so when she walked in front of us, we asked her if we could order something, and she told us that she was busy and we needed to go see the bartender if we wanted to order something. Then we asked the bartender, and he told us to wait for the server. The server always checks every table to see if anyone needs anything, except us. We waited for the server for more than an hour but she kept ignoring us. We were so disappointed, so we decided to leave and go somewhere else. TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS EQUALLY!!!!!
A	Alan TV on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The server is a little bit awkward with us, I know she is tired and overwhelmed with her tables guest occupancy that's why I understand so I am rating the overall food quality only and not including the service. We will definitely be back for sure because we love your spinach dip and wings appetizer. We got off from our long day at work and we decided to come visit the "Better than Fred's" restaurant and yes, we didn't get disappointed. The taste of our food is way beyond expectation. Cheers for the chefs and owners who take a lot of pride of their menu and the business. Note: The server could've done better if she visited us and asks us if we wanted to order for more food or not because after she took our appetizer order and was served by the runner guy, she didn't visited us and asked us again not even once. Don't worry about it, we are not mad or anything. Just a frustration that we see her kept checking other tables and not even stop to check on us but that is totally understandable?
g	gerald boyles on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were a large group (15) with no reservation. The staff was able to accommodate us even though they were quite busy. The service was great and so was the food. Ive only been here 3 times but its always fantastic.

Today was not one of those days, I had a waitress (red hair) that was honestly really rude she was more obligated to her larger tables. We waited 50 min before her coming to talk to us to get bill. We watched her go to 4 other tables 3 sets of times before even looking at is. We ordered appetizers ( spinach and gold rush boneless wings.) the spinach dip had a huge hair in it. Waitress never even talked to us about anything. ( was going to order dinner as well) Got fed up so I went to get pool balls and to pay for bill and the bartender was so beyond rude it was disgusting , (black hair) he rolled his eyes and didn’t even look at me / ask if I needed anything. When I asked for my card back he made me lean over counter to get it and gave me the rudest attitude, these two staff members I’ve never met before have ruined my experience. I tip well and have a great time here but today I didn’t feel respected at all, such a shame. ?

Locally owned and run by fantastic gentleman. MANY famous and not as famous entertainers and musicians have graced this establishment over the years. This a good social gathering place with a happy vibe. LOTS of EXTRA efforts in place in recent times to make the customers are comfortable and happy, given the new guidelines that are in place. They put in the effort to ensure that the impact is as minimal as possible for their customers. I would go here if I was looking for a place to enjoy some food, beverages and pool with my friends and close people. Thank you Better for your great service!
G	Gunner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very choice scenery and friendly bar maidens. Very interesting BBQ menu. I had the BBQ sampler for 1 and it was fantastic and a lot of tasty meats! Even the side of mac and cheese was baked and deliciously fresh. I especially Love the smoked wings and ribs!
