β β β β β Chinese grocer with good selection of fruits and vegetables, noodles, meat and fish, bakery, frozen foods.....but pricier than Prosperity Supermarket in the Chartwell Mall across the parking lot, FarmFresh down the street, Tops, AlPremium, FieldFresh, FirstChoice.... maybe even T&T. The hot prepared food is good but also pricey and very little vegetables. There's always lineups to give them your money. It's just a matter of how long you have to wait for them to take your money.

β β β β β Bought groceries two days ago.... Opened bag and found a huge tarantula in the bag... Scared me and threw it all away. Crazy....
We expect good quality food... Not food filled with potentially poisonous creatures...
Let's see if the management does anything to rectify this situation.

β β β β β Bestco has been around for a long time now and I used to go there once in a while when my family lived in the neighbourhood. I still drop in when when I'm in the area, sometimes for groceries but mostly for the food court.
They always have a good variety of Chinese food, including BBQ meats, dim sum, cook-at-home kits, and more.
On this visit, I got a combo meal from the food court. It included very generous servings of Tofu and Fish, Pork with Vegetables, Rice, and Soup, all for only $8.99! It was enough for two meals, great value for the money!

β β β β β Best place for prepped hot meals if you need something fast. They like to give big portions, really appreciate that. Due to inflation, they are cutting the soup from their 3 dish special takeaway. Food is getting pricier.
Bakery section is lacking.

β β β β β Chinese Grocery in Scarborough. Their cooked food section is great. Huge selection including full Dim Sum selection. They also have a Chinese BBQ/Roast section. Tasty food and good prices.

β β β β β This huge Asian supermarket is located just east of Brimley Rd in the Chartwell Shopping Centre.
I would place this store in the same category of a new Oceans in Mississauga, C&C Supermarket in North York or Foody World in Scarborough.
You'll find here all the departments expected to lure in Asian shoppers; a hot prepared takeout area, Roasted/BBQ/Brine/Soya meats, seafood, bakery with nice special occasion cakes, fruits & produce galore, sushi, a freshly prepared crepe counter, a large beauty products department, etc.
My main purpose here was to look for one specific brand of instant noodles! Facebook users said it was in stock...but it was not the case today!
Prices seem reasonable, competitive and the selection is good but keep an eye on expiry dates. Look for the specials!
The store is clean, appealing and checkouts seem to move along quickly.

β β β β β Amazing, fresh produce---anything you can imagine, they have! Lovely presentation as well. Everything is bright and super clean, well organized. Appreciate the variety of delish tofu types, and a world of spices at reasonable prices. Wonderful dried fruits too, like white peach! There is also a small bulk section at the front. Wish they opened a bit earlier, but other than that it's my new go to!

β β β β β This would be one of the go-to Asian grocery store in the neighborhood. There is a wide variety of Asian snacks and produce. You would always find the latest Asian trendy food here. On top of that, the price is very reasonable. The space is well kept and very clean.
