Benjamin Moore

Do not recommend due to the terrible service i received today. Went in with my 10 month old, and grandma came to babysit bringing my 9 year old sister so I could look at wallpaper. After patiently waiting outside for over 10 minutes to get in the store, we were allowed in as the max is 4 people (however, as the next in line werent looking at paint, they were allowed in too). First, the lady behind the counter rudely called my mom back to sanitize (which she already had using their sanitizer), to which the nice gentlemen (also behind the counter) confirmed to the lady she that my mom already had. Then, we weren't in the store 10 minutes (we patiently waited ourside longer) when we were rudely asked to leave because "we were preventing other customers from getting into the store". Could they not have waited their turn like we had? We werent going to be much longer. We are aware of our surroundings and are courteous people. We had just mentioned to each other that a couple had just walked up to the door, we were half way through the book......just a few more quick turns. Then, I was not told that the wallpaper books would have to be sanitized after we left (I'm a smart person though so definitely could assume due to the times ((Covid, how could snyone forget))...... so as we were walking out the lady rudely yelled "and I need to know which books you touched, as I TOLD YOU that they need to be sanitized!". She was almost spitting mad. I have never in my 37 years been treated this way. There was absolurely zero reason for her to act like that. I'm renovating my house...... plan on wallpapering a few walls and will be buying lots of paint. As in Pretty Woman: I'll shop at a store where they treat their customers right. I will NEVER shop here again. Sad when you can't shop local, or need to go elsewhere to be treated right.

I’d like to start with ...Benjamin Moore is my favourite paint of all time ! Unfortunately this store is absolutely horrible! It doesn’t seem to matter who is working on what day or even what year as I think the owner has a prerequisite in his application forms that if hired you must be rude , unhelpful , unprofessional and unknowable. I have lived here for 6 years and have tried several times in different years to make a purchase but it’s been so brutal each and every time I just leave. I’ve now learned to love and appreciate Behr from home depot in Vernon. I do several painting projects every year and every year the staff at Home Depot are polite , helpful, professional and knowledgeable. They are awesome ! The paint is pretty good too. Especially if you are doing outside furniture and stuff ...Behr does the trick better than Benjamin Moore.I really miss using BM for my inside stuff and walls but I just can’t and won’t support a business that has these bad behaviours. Send a message and don’t shop here. Instead get the colour code and head to Vernon.

I love Benjamin Moore products and the Benjamin Moore in Kelowna is so amazing to deal with so I assumed it would be a likewise experience here. It was not. The two women who were working there were so miserable and treated me and someone else in the store horribly. I will never shop here again and after asking around this is a normal at this store. I went to home hardware after and talked to them about it and they said I was probably the 5th person who has come in after trying to go the Benjamin Moore. I feel bad for the owners of this store who clearly don’t realize they are loosing so much business because of these women.

I like Benjamin Moore paint, but unfortunately, the high quality of paint is soured by the treatment of customers at this store. I had a couple of questions about a painting project and fully intended on purchasing paint that day. Due to the harsh words and treatment I experienced in this store, I walked out without purchasing anything. I should've known better as this has happened to me more than three times at this store. It seems like they don't actually ever want customers there, like I am bothering them by just walking in the door. The next day I drove to Vernon and purchased my paint from the Benjamin Moore store there. A much better choice! Highly suggest going there instead.

The women who work there are very rude and unhelpful. Make you feel very unwelcome. Will not return. I see that tends to be a trend. Why do they still have a job there?

I have bought lots of paint at Benjamin Moore painted my whole house .Then needed touch up paint it didn't match my walls I showed them pictures of how it didnt match on my wall .She gave me some excuse it wasn't color locked.. Funny the stuff I had in the basement of the same color matched perfect .It has sat in a bucket for 3 years .I see now why yr reviews are so low .Bad business practices

I’ve bought a lot of paint here in the last six months and have interacted with many different employees. I never had a bad experience so I’m not sure why there were so many negative reviews. I’m pretty sure I was served by both of the ladies others thought were rude. No problem with either of them. The one lady spent a lot of time with me picking out new colours for my reno. My only complaint was I spent too much money but the quality of the paint, excellent colours, and the results were good even with my limited DIY skills

The thing that stands out the most for me as a contractor is the quick and knowledgeable responses to my orders both on the phone and in store. Amy is quick, efficient, knowledgeable, eager to assist and has a great sense of humor. Everyone in the store is dedicated to their craft but Amy stands out for me. while your order is being created, you can also peruse their Smoker BBQ Line with accessories and spices ( I have a tailgate smoker bbq and WOW) Well done Imagine Home Decor you folks are wonderful to deal with.
