★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my first time having Edo cuisine and so I asked for recommendations from our server. I ended up ordering goat with jollof rice and plantains.
The jollof rice is the best part. Well made and seasoned. Peppery spicy kick.
The plantains are decent.
The goat with the tomato based sauce is tasty but the goat was the texture of leather. It's a cured goat which I wasn't aware of so it's impossible to chew. It's a great jaw workout.
The price is on the high side at $19 for this. Although it would feed 2 people.
I'd come back to try their chicken but I wouldn't recommend the goat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The jolof rice was very good with just the right amount of spice(heat). Stewed beef was a bit dry but still tasty. Price for a few peices of beef and rice, with fried plantains, is $15.. So not the best value. Also, the menu could be more comprehensive. I may go back and try something else on the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay so this is the best place to eat in Toronto. The food taste like home (nigeria) The starch and banga can really hit the spot. The stew and rice is a most have lol. The service is great too, very friendly staff.

You can't go wrong with great service, great food, and great prices. This is my favorite Nigerian establishment. I give 5 stars, but wish I could give more than that.
