★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jody and his team are rock stars!
I was struggling with getting someone to do my fireplace, wood framing, stonework, and mantel. A third generation stone mason, Jody took one look and knew exactly what needed to be done. I didn't have to hire 3 different people.
He gave me an online cost and time estimate, which I easily accepted electronically. The framing was done off site as well as the stone cutting so my neighbors wouldn't be interrupted (very considerate in a condo).
The mantel was cut from a fallen 400 year old cedar, cut, and finished to measure. The basalt hearth and stone were cut from the local quarry. Everything was sourced locally and thoughtfully directly in Squamish.
The project was completed as promised, my home was kept clean, he maintained excellent communication sending photos of progress, text messages, and status phone calls. The result is simply amazing. Jody was a true professional and I'd recommend him to anyone - he's the real deal.
