We had their fish and chips, as well as bacon and eggs with hash, not greasy at all like at other breakfast places. Fast friendly service. Big parking area. Definitely worth a visit when in Beaverton.

D	Dan Taylor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was passing through with some friends and decided to try some fish and chips. Upgraded to a poutine, cause why not? That was about 4 months ago and I crave that meal almost daily haha... if I’m ever in Beaverton again, I will 100% be stopping here.

After placing our order we were asked very rudely to wait outside (Personality changed drastically) When we given our poutine it was in a plastic bag sideways which then the gravy and cheese had spilt all over the bag and container. Had to ask for forks (only given 1 and there were 2 of us) Get to the car there was no napkins, went back in for them and was given 1 napkin, once again had to ask for more. The costomer service was not good at all!!

The batter is not too heavy or too light, it's just right, and the fish is always cooked perfectly, never overdone. I did branch out of my comfort zone once and tried the hamburger and was upset when I found out that they charged me extra for lettuce on my burger, they never mentioned the up-charge when I ordered. Had I known they charge extra for lettuce I wouldn't have ordered it. Seems silly when already paying so much for the burger itself. The fish and chips keep me coming back.

We've tried other places when we're out and about but nothing compares even remotely. Call ahead or stop in, usually a 10 minute wait and always fresh and tasty! Lunch size portion is more than enough to fill you up.

The locals seem to flock to on Sunday morning--we came here stopping in from heading home from Brechin and it was a wonderful delight. Two of the girls had the regular breakfast and it was a large delicious portion--2eggs, 4 piece toasts, 4 breakfast sausages and a smile :). Another friend and I had the fish and chips, herself the cod and for me the halibut and poutine. It was absolutely delicious--a delicious crispy batter and yummy gravy for the poutine. It was a large portion. Took half of it home as takeaway and airfried the next day for that crispy yum! The lady sat us, took our orders and served us. The man was in the kitchen, making our food--it is incredible how the two were so friendly while so efficient serving their customers. We also noticed they knew some of their customers by name and vice versa. Needless to say, i recommend a stop here if you are traveling through.
