★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our wedding on Oct 1, at VanDusen Botanical Garden, near the Meadow Pond. The wedding took place around 1pm, and our photographer was Jake Michael.
Before I go into that, a little something about me. I don't like getting my pictures taken. I don't like smiling. I don't like gathering.. (but I love my wife because she'll be reading this.) Prior to the photoshoot, I was very stressed because I didn't know what to expect, and I thought I wasn't going to have a good time.
I was so wrong. Also I've never been so happy that I'm wrong. :) Jake arrived a bit earlier, and we had some chitchat before the wedding so everyone got comfortable. He's professional, courteous, and he put everyone at ease. He was also one of the few people who complimented me that day! Passersby would tell my wife how amazing she looked, and would then jokingly (or not) tell me, "and you look okay too."
Jake was very good with his directing. How we should walk, where we put our hands, where we look, and more importantly he kept reminding us to have fun. And we did. We had so much fun, the 3 hours went by so quickly, and we felt like it just started.
Jake took so many details into consideration. We had a zoom session prior to the shoot to go over what we wanted to accomplish. During the shoot, he made sure to capture the fall atmosphere and more importantly all the joy that came with it. Every time we looked at the pictures we feel like we were reliving that moment just a little bit.
We really thank Beautiful Life Studio for this wonderful experience of a lifetime. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jake did my engagement photos and wow!! I love them!! My fiancé is a bit shy and I was nervous about how he would do in front of the camera but Jake is such a pro. He gave direction and really made us both feel so comfortable! He knew how to pose us and made it all feel effortless! 10/10 I highly recommend going with Beautiful Life Studios for any of your photography needs. Thanks again JAKE!!

Jacob from Beautiful Life Studios was AMAZING on our wedding day. He captured the emotion of the day beautifully and worked in a very confident & professional manner and made everyone feel comfortable. His directions were easy to follow and had an excellent eye for what would make a great photo. Multiple guests felt compelled to tell us how impressed they were by Jake & his workmanship and we couldn't agree more!
Communication leading up to our wedding day was easy and the planning sessions were detailed and productive. Pricing was competitive and came in slightly less expensive that other photographers.
The bottom line is, Beautiful Life Studios exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a highly skilled and professional photographer.
We are beyond thrilled with the entire experience Beautiful Life Studios provided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would leave my husband and get married again if it meant I could get more wedding photos/videos taken by Beautiful Life (mostly kidding, husband). I cannot express how happy my husband and I were with the whole experience. Not only are they beyond professional and take the time to really customize the experience, but they also made the day stress-free and so much fun. They were very clear and direct with their directions, and it made for the perfect photos. The team are all visionaries and can really make the most of every photo and frame. My husband and I are real awkward, but they somehow made it seem like we were born for the camera. It went right to our heads. I cannot recommend Beautiful Life Studios enough! They will make your wedding photos literal art. Not the kind of photos you hide and only take out when you're drunk and want to feel bad about yourself. Five stars all around!

They captured our entire wedding week perfectly and allowed love and happiness to shine through all of the photos. They were hands DOWN our favourite vendors. My husband and I honestly enjoyed hanging out with these guys and they took away any awkwardness lol. The pure candid element of these photos has made for the best memories imaginable. I cannot say enough good things, please book Beautiful Life BC if you want amazing photos. Thanks for everything!

We hired Beautiful Life Studios BC for our Wedding at Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club on Saturday, September 18, 2021 as well as for our engagement photos at Kits Beach back in May 2020. Our Photographer was Jake Michael. Jake is an absolutely AMAZING Photographer!!!!! He made us feel comfortable and we had so much fun with him on our Wedding day as well as at our engagement shoot! Communication with Jake was excellent and he is super easy to get along with. We filled out a detailed planning form and he was quick to answer any/all of our questions. We also had Joanna as a second photographer on our Wedding day who was wonderful as well! We received some sneak peek wedding photos back and they are all SO incredibly beautiful, we can’t wait to see all the rest!! Thank you SO much Jake and the Beautiful Life Studios Team!!!! We are so grateful that you were a huge part of our wedding day!! ?❤️
