★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The over all expierence was pleasant, the hyperactive 5 year old enjoyed the scavenger hunt sheets and few interactive features they had available and it was fun to walk around and look at everything. I purchased a Groupon and for the price it was a fun little addition to the day but definitely not a main event.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful little museum with reasonable admission prices. It is pretty small compared to other museums and you might not spend more than 1 hour here. The exhibits get a bit repetitive, because they're all in a library-like system of cabinets. However, there are lots of cool informational displays and I really enjoyed my time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Numerous specimens of plants, insects and animals of this region are cataloged and stored in this museum. Almost overwhelming. TIP If this is your area of interest book a tour to maximize your experience. On behalf of humans I would like to apologize for our selfish, disrespectful treatment, and disruption, of nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ really neat museum on the ubc campus, the whale skeleton is very eye catching. didn’t realize there was natural history on display in the downstairs area, cool spot to learn things

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting subterranean venue in the middle of UBC campus. The modern space has an awesome blue whale skeleton at the entrance and loads of passages full of different plant and animal species samples stored in jars, mounted skeletons and stuffed and lifelike. There are also a few exhibits that allow visitors to gently touch and examine the artifacts. There is a theatre for presentations and they offer some guided tours and lectures but there weren't any on the day we visited. A small area featured beautiful artwork inspired by nature and created by staff and volunteers.
