★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doesn't return calls or email...when he does it might be weeks or months later who knows...been with him for years but if you want to add or change something he is hard to reach...he probably doesn't even know im not insured with him anymore even tho I called and email a dozen times

Never answers the phone or emails....really shouldn't be in business at all. Willing to risk you as a client if you require more then the average work load. Will not go the extra mile.

I had to deal with Chuck Saunders on an accident I had in my car and he was totally on top of it every step of the way. I totally would endorse these guys to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a customer of Bearspaw insurance for about 5 years now and have absolutly zero complaints. I had to do a vehicle swap and the amount of time shown by my phone to get the insurance switched was a whopping 1minute 48 seconds. Dealing with Chuck is a no brainer. Won't ever want to deal with large insurance brokers and there exhausting phone systems ever AGAIN!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used Chuck at Bearspaw insurance for over 10 years. He never once answered the phone or returned a voicemail, but was fairly responsive to my emails, though he was quite unresponsive to my wife's emails so we have mixed experiences.
In recent years, for inexplicable reasons, our rates would go up a lot year after year (at least 10-15%), this was while our ages and experience were going up (i.e. no longer in our early-mid twenties and therefore considered less-risk) plus none of our vehicles ever had a claim. The only claim we ever made was on the house (new shingles) and the rates subsequently went up substantially (which is understandable), however Chuck explained that our rates would slowly decrease back to the lower rates we'd been used to over the coming years after the claim (because our no-claims period would be increasing again from zero). Well 2 plus years passed after the only claim we made, but the rates didn't go down, they always went up. Chuck didn't seem bothered or able to offer an explanation when we enquired, so we shopped around and found much better deals elsewhere (30% better for the same coverage).

They are conveniently located in NW Calgary and have been very accommodating with my schedule.
I can recommend Bearspaw Insurance without hesitation!

Low rates and answers to questions is really all anyone wants from their insurance broker and Chuck has easily been the best broker I have dealt with. I still use his services after moving from Calgary to Okotoks.
