Dr Boyd is very experienced and reassuring. Highly recommend. The clinic is busy due to a high volume of patients so expect some wait time. I see the staff puts in a lot of effort to keep the place sanitized.

I bring my elderly parents here and the staff is very nice. As for wait times, my own ophthalmologist takes just as long, so maybe bring a book and lunch because it won't be any better anywhere else.

Terrible experience. The original appointment was cancelled because the Dr was not in and they have not notified me. It was re-scheduled for hte next day. The day I went in was an utterly disorganization. Waited 4.5 hrs to be attended. The Dr did not like me asking questions. Avoid this location. Go somewhere else to take care of your health.

Sitting in my car waiting. Took about 1.5 hours to see tech who put drops in and took pictures. Now told it will be at least another 2 hours until I see the dr! The pager only reaches the parking lot, it’s cold, And running the car for very long is costly. When I told them I wasn’t sure I could wait another 2+ hours as I have things to do (their paperwork states appointment will be two hours total) I received an eye roll, a shrug, and told That’s just how it is ma’am. I will be filling a complaint.

The wait might be long but it's not like it use to be and it's well worth the wait for the quality of care that you get. Dr Baziuk is one of the most amazing sympathetic doctors I know and she digs until she can give you a diagnosis to what's going on with you she's honest but courteous. Hands down I would go back there if needed be without a doubt. I'm just glad I live in Oshawa and don't have to travel far like some people that I've chatted with in the waiting room that have traveled from North Bay or further.

It’s not enough that I’ve never ever seen Dr Baziuk within my scheduled time but I usually must wait a minimum of 3 - 4 hours. Heaven forbid u complain then you’re given dirty looks by the staff. I have to work so having a 2:00 appointment and waiting until 5:00 IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Unfortunately we are a captive audience as they are only ones available in Durham ree ed goon. I asked to switch to Dr Boyd do I can book on my day off but (of course ) was denied!!!

As the spouse of Dr. Mikhail's patient, I sincerely thank you for the care and attention given to Sharon in performing her lens replacement. She is a high-risk patient, but the improvement in vision has been significant. While the wait times are long and sometimes frustrating, and communication with the office is difficult via phone, the overall results have been marked and we thank you for your hard work and expertise in an underserved community.

This clinic is a dud. I was referred to Dr. Mikhail last summer. I need injections in my eye every 6 weeks to maintain vision. I was referred by my Ophthalmologist in the hopes that I would get another opinion as to best course of care. i lost continuity of care, as I waited almost 4 months without a call from Dr. Mikhail. I called his office and my referring Doctor on multiple occasions, and was passed back and forth. By the time I could see Dr. Baziuk because Mikhail was MIA, I could no longer read, and could have suffered permanent damage to my eyes. Dr. Baziuk saw me after I had travelled 90 minutes each way, and spent 6 hours waiting in their tiny little waiting room that only seats 5 people. The buzzer I was issued was numbered 17. Many patients were forced to wait in their cars in the hopes they may soon win the lottery. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and chalked it up to a daily SNAFU, in the hopes that my next visit may be more efficient. WRONG!! I was there again today for an appointment at 10:40. By 1:00, still no Doctor. I informed the receptionist that I had another appointment closer to home 90 minutes away and left. Untreated. Unacceptable on so many levels. There is zero organization at this clinic, zero respect for the patient, and zero respect for our time. For all the time these Doctors spent at school, they never learned how to read a wrist watch, or organize a calendar. So sad...
