Bayview Park Resort

Been at the park for 6 years and have no plans on leaving. Beautiful park and very clean. Activities for kids on the weekends. Beautiful beach that they keep very clean and rake all the time. Water toys for the kids to play on. Huge park for the kids. Great fishing on Crowe Lake. Owners are wonderful people and Bruce really goes above and beyond to make Halloween memorable for the kids. Very happy we found our summer home here.

Used to camp there and was good when auto ran it. The daughter took over and is all about the dollar now. I’m hearing from campers I know there that they havnt even opened the playground for the kids yet. Sounds more like a dictatorship then a fun summer retreat. The real fun is glen allen. Halloween for the kids last weekend was great!

A Day in the Life at Bayview Summer of 2020 and 2021: -Park washrooms, showers laundry closed for the entire season -Park Fun – All events remained cancelled except the owner’s personal charity golf tournament -Beach water floaties not installed -Maintenance Service Requests no longer managed by park management – campers must make their own arrangement for any repairs – no onsite service provided by owners and campers must be onsite for technicians to fix your cottager -Visitors must provide considerable upfront, personal confidential information to park management – to determine if they will ‘approve’ of their acceptance into the resort - greater than 24 hours in advance -Visitors are required to use your own cottager washroom/facility – park owner message – “no exceptions can be made with the septic handling services…Sorry, we cannot accommodate 'Oh, I forgot' email requests for pumpouts; no emergency pumpout services available. If your tank fills up before the next pumpout, you will have to go home”. -Threats of not following any of the pages and pages of park rules will get you strikes on your account and turfed from the park -New MPAC Tax on all cottagers during COVID – is that listed on the website? -2020 Ontario Government Rent Increase Guideline = 0% - No increase -Bayview 2020 Lot Rent Increase with all of the above inclusions = 7-10% Surely a 7-10% lot fee increase during COVID is showing compassion for campers with all the limited amenities and park restrictions, right?! What did 2021 renewals bring?... Fee Increases as Written by Park Owner: “Park fees will be increasing 7% each year for the next 7 – 8 years in order to offset the estate succession and huge buyout costs that were required for Ruth and Bruce to buy the Park from Ruth’s parents and keep the Park in the family. As a result, Bayview Park now carries an enormous mortgage as part of the purchase which was needed to keep the Park family owned and operated and avoid selling out externally. Historically, Bayview Park has always been debt free, but in order to complete the estate buyout to purchase the Park from the estate at required fair market value, a significant debt burden was incurred”. Do your wages increase 7% every year? You decide – does all this sound like a relaxing resort with fun and a great service offering you can afford?

Great park very clean, Public bathrooms are cleaned every day. Ruth is a amazing person. Lots of great things for the whole family to do. Worth the trip in to explore this park.

This was our first summer at Bayview we bought a beautiful one and a half cottage and it was the Best dession we have made next to having our children♡ Husband had research many parks for 4 years and thus park had kept coming back to us with all that we wanted in a park to place such a big investment into We had gone to the Trailer Show in March and met with RUTH and her family and loved what their plan for their park was and wanted to buy immediately♡ We visited the park in may and bought that day and couldn't wait to start our journèy into retirement This park has rules like any other park but they are for the benefit of all families It's family owned and their fees are Cheap compared to what we have seen.. The families in this park are fun and friendly...its a quiet park..whefe we are on Long island and we LOVE IT... SO IF IT'S A PARK WHERE YOU WANT TO CALL HOME...THIS IS IT!! Thanks RUTH BRUCE and Family for a Great summer and can't wait till spring??? Well spring has sprung ànd the park looks great even on a gloomy day..just waiting for the long weekend to arrive♡♡

Absolutely horrible owners. Hated by most campers. They are unreasonable, intolerable, . The power has gone to their head as owners.. They have a rule called "Three strikes & you're out" & they actually haul your trailer out of the park. Without a doubt they are the owners from hell!! Today my review can't be seen. Obviously the owners chose not to show it because it wasn't positive However it was the most truthful. Shame, shame shame on the owners, but certainly nota surprise. It just substanciates what I've written.!

We have been seasonals at bayview going into our third season now. We LOVE and cherish our time at Bayview, we are making family memories that we will hold dear for a lifetime. All of the seasonal owners at Bayview are some of the nicest you will find. We have met so many great people. The grounds and the park is impeccably maintained, there's always something being added or fixed up, there's real pride of ownership in this park. There are rules to follow, like any park, but we find them reasonable, they keep our kids safe and the park as beautiful as it is. If you're someone who doesn't like rules, this likely isn't the spot for you. The events have just started back up after covid, and the amount of time and detail that goes into planning them from the Park is amazing. Our kids are having the time of their lives. This past weekend the bad storm swept through Ontario and I can't help but think that the reason most of us in the park got as lucky as we did, with not much storm damage, is because the park maintains their trees so well. We had some fall, but the park has been great in communicating with everyone and ensuring everyone's safety. I highly recommend bayview if you're looking for a quiet retreat to create lasting memories with your family. Also, I don't think you will find a park with better views or lots!! 80% of the sites in the park are waterfront or have some kind of water view. It's nothing like any other park we have visited over the years. Thanks to Ruth and Bruce for all they do to make Bayview the magical place that it is.

We did a lot of looking before we found Bayview resort and our search ended there! The place is very maintained, lots of greenery, flowers and very clean. We purchased our mobile home and couldn't be happier. Ruth and Bruce have been extremely helpful during the purchase and moving in process. Highly recommend this resort!
