★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I shared a biscuit sandwich and a brunch bowl and the only way of expressing how delicious it was - was that I spent 20 minutes battling with forgotten passwords and account recovery because I absolutely had to leave a 5 star review. Service was great, food was probably the best brunch I’ve ever had. And I like brunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow. My friend and I were looking for a brunch spot on a weekday and stumbled across this gem. The place was absolutely packed! They offer counter service, and call out your number when your food is ready. There is a patio at the front and the back, so we didn’t mind the wait. And the food was well worth it. I had a half order of huevos rancheros and it was bold and fresh. My friend ordered a breakfast sandwich which is served open faced, kind of like a Benedict. We were both delightfully surprised with our meals!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I honestly want to have their biscuit sandwich but staff said it would over 30 minutes wait, so I gave up and had a savoury scone instead. However, the drink which I ordered Americano also took about 15 minutes or so. I wish the cashier also told me the drink had also a long wait, then I didn’t order and waste my time. Looks very nice cafe, and probably very popular place for locals. To bad I had to stand and wait for a long time to just get one Americano…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem on the main drag in Sechelt! Amazing fresh flavourful food. The prices are reasonable and the service super friendly. We sat in the sunshine outside. Yes the biscuits are to die for:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great brunch and lunch spot! We visited twice during our stay. Their baked goods are delicious, comforting and great treats after mornings of hiking. The portions are generous, drinks were delicious and the vibe of the cafe/restaurant was great. Tip: it does get very busy and thus full in the indoor space but head to the back for more seating in a charmingly decorated and covered outdoor space. Also, make room or take home their carrot cake, it really is so good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just got a response for my review, see below. As a customer I felt that this review was warranted. It is absolutely okay to not like something. I did not know there was staff shortages as I did not see any signs or was informed of this. The food, to my taste, was bland, and not worth the price tag it came with. But the fact that the owner responded in defense and making it a "my problem", just shows poor integrity. Don't worry, I will not be dining at this establishment again.
To the owner, you have many good reviews, it is okay to have a bad one here and there.

thought the spinach would be cooked, the "pickled" cabbage tasted like nothing, potatoes were decent. What's with the paper plate? Aren't they going to wash the plates any ways? Tasteless and not that good.... dang"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here to grab some brunch on a Monday morning. Ordered the Sergio Biscuit Sandwich & the Basted Baker Hash! The biscuit sandwich didn't disappoint if you're looking for something heavier to fuel up for the day. We ordered half the hash and it was still pretty filling. They've also got some bomb-looking baked goods by the bar, which all seems really delicious. For the time we spent there, saw a lot of customer getting their Chocolate Banana Turnover and Carrot Cake as well!
