★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bass Lake Lodge was simply an outstanding Canadian lodge experience. The new owners were warm and accommodating for our large group of fishermen - we sincerely appreciate their hospitality and hard work during our stay. The cabins are clean and functional with the right amenities to for a comfortable stay, but still have that cabin-in-the-woods feel. However, the real reason to come is the incredible tranquility of the lakeside location. There is excellent fishing literally at the end of the spacious docks on a beautiful lake with little boat traffic. Spending an evening next to the fire pit with good friends at such a great place is truly priceless.

Lovely environment, good water front, staff is friendly (family owned) and always ready to help. The cabins well preserved, good enough for a scape from the city. My family had a blast the whole week at the cottage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friend of mine stayed the winter here and loved it. Great owners. Skating rink and skating trail! Campground recently purchased and bring upgraded. Seasonal trailers have been there for MANY years...many too long. Lol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place! It was a well kept secret for a while. Ok so etc etc it's awesome....no complaints.
Now the people who run the place work tirelessly to improve it, and they're great people too. I have never seen people so dedicated, and so motivated to make such a great place for all of us
It's no wonder you need to book way in advance. It's worth it. Beautiful place, and people. Close to Rideau Ferry and Perth. Smith Falls is nearby as well, so that's a good place to get supplies.
Just go! Book a week off and go fishing, swimming, or just enjoy life by the water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can not say enough about Jackie and Brian. They are fantastic hosts. The cottages are very clean along with the camp site. The whole area is very clean. They have changed Bass Lake 100% to a wonderful place to go in the summer. Thank you Brian and Jackie for a great week.
