We hired Bartlett to trim rhotos and a tall tree at the rear of our house that had branches overhanging our roof. The rhoto trim was good, but they totally botched the tree pruning. They pruned nearly all of one side of the tree, leaving it unbalanced looking and creating a giant ugly gap next to our house. They also claimed their boom was not tall enough to reach the overhanging branches so just left them. This was why we wanted the tree pruned in the first place! I complained, they admitted it was poor work and offered to give us a nursery coupon to help purchase a tree to try and fill the gap. They never sent the coupon. Finally after calling them, they sent a coupon for $20! I paid $1,800 for the tree prune! My tree is permanently ruined...

We've been dealing with Mike and Bartlett Tree Service for several years now. As an arborist, Mike is not only a pleasure to deal with but we trust his professional opinion in caring for our trees and bushes. Work done is always as scheduled, the crew pleasant and polite to deal with.

This is one of the most unreliable and unprofessional companies I’ve ever made the mistake of hiring. They showed up to complete the quoted job and completely disappeared without reviewing it with me. I came to check on them and they were gone. Work NOT completed. They had done the absolute bare minimum on the trees and not even remotely fulfilled the job as detailed in their quote. Upon contacting Donovan Neelin, their arborist and the man who provided the agreed upon quote, he told me he would come and meet me to review. After not hearing from him for two days, I wrote him again. His response? He had apparently unlocked our gate and let himself onto our property to review the day before... alone... without so much as a phone call, email, or ring of the camera doorbell to notify us that he was there to review the shoddy work. That’s a crime. It’s called trespassing on private property. We also have a nervous rescue dog that may have been very upset by his unannounced presence. Oh... and we have full property home surveillance which he never appeared on... so Donovan never actually came to our house to review. He just made up a hilariously terrible lie instead. Now, they won’t come back to finish the job and demand full payment... is this really a company you’d like to hire? Hopefully this review will help to save other locals struggling with the pandemic from losing their hard earned money to Bartlett, their employees, and their practices. The hedges out front look nice though... so that’s at least one good thing?

We have been using Bartlett’s since we moved to Tsawwassen, their customer service is a ten, and their employees are well informed and super helpful. Donavon and Sherry you are the best. I would highly recommend Bartlett's
