Jim's Mowing - Head Office

Once again, Annabelle, Will and their Jim's Mowing Rockridge team did a fantastic job of our fall clean-up! Not only are they great people, but they work so hard and do such a thorough job. Our property is quite big with lots of nasty ivy and they did a great job of cleaning it up... all in one very wet and rainy day! Thanks guys!

Patrick Keen and his team did a completely professional job in getting our yard and garden areas cleaned up, trimmed, mulched, mowed, pressure washed and ready for the coming good weather. I could not be more pleased with Patrick’s work and professional approach.

im sure there are plenty of hard working honest great Jims mowing franchises so I dont want this to be a general review but just hope you don't have to deal with SAM PALVIS, if he gets assigned to you I advise you to ask for someone else or say you'll pass HE IS A SCAM! I had a 13-15 feet hedges I wanted move to my other side of my fence , he came quoted and said yea that's no problem easily doable for 2300 , I can start next week so because I had a fence going in and other things being done I chose him thinking Jims mowing had a standard and a quality to live up to , boy was I wrong. He shows up by himself to move 100 feet worth length wise of 15 foot trees by himself, asking me if I have ropes, chains to secure the trees to the excavator and then make a subtle joke about me helping him, last time I checked I'm paying you 2300 bucks to do the job for me ... I shoulda taken that as a major sign but hey I gave him the benefit of the doubt he said he's done this before , maybe a worker didn't show up or something but if the jobs out of your league say so let me find someone else dont mess up my back yard. he broke over half the trees trying to pull them out the lazy way and now I have a bunch roots that were broken off instead of pulled out properly and im stuck digging them out n cutting them . he put random trees back not in the same order because he kept breaking them as he pulled them out so everything looked really bad, I've consulted with a few landscaping companies after and they said you take them out and put them back like a puzzle to keep them some what nice and they grow back , then he try to tell me oh they'll grow back in time trust me just get some bone meal !! he hit my fence / neighbours fence with the excavator then tried to push it together so I wouldn't notice but I saw him do it and took a picture of it right away , which led to me having to pay for a new fence with my neighbour. I even warned him a bunch please watch that fence when your replanting . he was to lazy to dig holes by hand and just wanted to sit in his machine. He also didn' he didn't secure the trees and put them up right everything was leaning into my grass and falling over but again he assured me this is how it goes when you do big tree transplants , also half the trees weren't even covered with dirt just planted in the bare minimum the new landscaper guys literarily just pulled the trees out im a honest person where ill take your word , im a new home owner and I haven't had to do anything like this before and landscaping is not my fortay . he clearly didn't realize how big the job was going to be showing up solo as I mentioned but he didn't even show up with a trailer or removal truck he had to call someone mid job to get them out here because he really didn't realize. THEN CHARGES ME 300 MORE FOR REMOVAL and got super pushy for me to pay right away because he knew his job was a joke and didn't want me to sit on it . lesson learned I messaged him a few weeks later after I talked to my landscaper and he showed me everything the way it shoulda been done and I asked for about 500-1000 bucks back to cover the extra fee he put on for removal ( which was supposed to be included ) and put towards new trees because I had to buy new trees and get things done properly again from removing the tress he Messed up to planting new ones . he wanted to come back and fix things but when you hit a fence , 2 lights and scam me and aren't honest im going to pass letting you mess more things up . then gets mad that I gave him a 1 star Jims mowing review threw the survey that was sent via email saying thats not going to help you get anything back with that review , im going on vacation ill be back in a month then well talk . oh how convient .... well its been 2 months haven't herd from him and it shows some people are just bad humans and dont take pride in there work I dont ever right reviews but I really dont want anyone to get scammed like I did . We had Jim’s Mowing, Greg, Susanna and team in twice in the past two weeks to do spring maintenance on our yard and we were extremely happy with their work. The yard looks like a new yard. Would definitely recommend this team for your yard maintenance!!

I needed to trim my cedar hedges. Dan was very professional and knowledgeable. They did a great job on the trim. I will be using them again for my other lawn services.

This is the first time we have used Gorde Schaffer from Jim's Mowing Coquitlam for lawn work and power washing. Gorde exceeded our expectations and was efficient, professional and knowledgeable. Our place looks great. We highly recommend his services and will definitely use them again.

We had Brittany Ellis and her team come over to re work our retaining wall garden. Could not have been more pleased. They listened, add suggestions and did a great job. Would not hesitate to use their services again. Would highly recommend them.

We had Dan in Maple Ridge do our installation of pea gravol for our dog run. He was very professional and was able to answer all my questions very quick. His team was very pleasant as well and the job was completed quicker than I thought. They made sure to clean up after themselves and we are very happy with the finished product!
