★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great spot to have a picnic after a 7km hike from Barrier Lake. The almost 360 degree views of the valleys below are wonderful. It was very interesting talking with the fire lookout worker.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful hike, to the tower about 9 kms one way. The trail was very icy so poles and microspikes mandatory.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an amazing hike with great views! The trail leading to here is not maintained but it was a fairly easy hike. We had zero issues but a newer hiker may find it a little challenging. Hiking boots helped. Well worth the hike though! We noticed that there are also a few picnic tables here for the public to use.
