★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our Sweet Quatro of a group decided a trip to Barrhead to visit my partner's previous home and acreage spaces. What an excellent use of our time. This bustling little town stands proud and honest, providing us semi-tourists to enjoy quiet meals and tasty local baked goods from the Barrhead Bakery. Our hour long journey away from Edmonton was spent enjoying time together, exploring and viewing these spaces, where his family's homes had stood proud in the past. I loved an emotional day of retribution, identity, history and belonging. Together, we shared 'Oreo Balls', tufts of chocolate cake and cheesecake packed&mixed into a chocolate covered timbit (dont sue me, Tim Who Shall Not Be Named).
Visit this sweet and tasty place. Customer service made us feel welcome and accounted for. We most certainly will be back to Barrhead- if not only for the chance to embrace that sweet oreo deliciousness once more...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just went on a little (1hr) trip on the motorcycle and ended up in Barrhead, AB. The wife and I we're pleasantly surprised with the goodies at the bakery. Just like Grandma used to make. Bought some glazed donuts a cinnamon twists. Go on! Look at the attached picture. Mmmmmm Awesome!

It was ready on time, and worth the effort in every way. Oh, and a very good price. Beautifully decorated, and utterly delicious. Thanks for making the birthday extra special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your like raisin bread try the raising bread/buns. The glazed doughnuts, are incredible. As Id say, they are Homer Simpson approved! They sell fresh sandwiches as well. You have to try the Turkey and Smoked Gouda.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We always stop in at Barrhead Bakery when we are in town. The bread and buns are delicious and fresh. The cookies are to die for as well. The staff are pleasant and helpful. They sell certain meats as well. I believe it's local products too . We will continue to stop in whenever possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed visiting this Dutch import store and home bakery! So many European quality goodies and the fresh baked goods were well priced. My mother and I really enjoyed the filled donuts! Can't wait to use their farm fresh eggs for breakfast too!
This will be a regular stop for us whenever we are in Barrhead. Something to look forward too!
