★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Barbara is an amazing therapist! I have been seeing her for quite a long time (2 years+) and our work together is about to come to an end as I am not just surviving, or living, I am thriving. I am happy to say that my sessions with her have enabled me to confront my demons directly so that I can put them in the past and live my best life. Barbara is patient, kind, intelligent, extremely knowledgeable and has 30+ years of experience to draw from. She is highly effective at her job and most importantly warm and empathetic. She has been such an integral part of my recovery that I can't recommend her enough. When it comes to therapy, my opinion is that each individual experience will be different, you have to be well matched with the right therapist (for you). Also, much of it depends on how deep one is willing to go to draw out the issues (trauma, addiction, abuse, etc) that may be holding you back; however, if you put in the work and can collaborate as a team with a therapist like Barbara you will not be disappointed. For anyone reading this, I wish you the best of luck on your mental health journey! You can do it my friend :)
