The Bar WA brand was first used by my great grandfather Abram Willms who came to Canada from Ukraine in 1925 during the time of the Russian revolution. He had grown up on a multi-generational family farm so it was a natural move to start farming in Canada. He did not have the benefit of parental financial support as many of us do now so it was a struggle to get started. The farm/ranch we own today is thanks to his hard work as well as the following generations who were willing to continue to keep this dream alive.
