G	GQ Michael on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is really cool, the parties on Thursday- Saturday here are really dope! I would definitely guarantee that everyone head down here at one point in time for some drinks or to just dance. The staff is super friendly and the place stays pretty tidy especially before Covid. Only flaw lol they don’t have bottle water but the water system they have their is amazing and the glasses are always spotless.

We were the only ones in the lobby waiting. After about 30 seconds, they finally peeled their eyes away from the tablet to acknowledge we were there. We got to our table and the server was nice, but barely paid attention to us. It is a cool vibe but VERY loud. The cocktails are overrated compared to the excellent cocktail bars in the neighbourhood. We left after one drink. This is a place if you want to flex your “influencer” but not if you want to enjoy the company of the people you are with.

V	Vicky Jiang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for happy hour with a friend, the $2 oysters are fine but not my vibe (smaller and topped with a lot of pesto). The long island iced teas were delightful as was everything else we ordered from the menu (ceviche blanco, croquetas (A+), charcuteria).

Indoor looks so pretty, can't wait for karaoke dine in, one of the waiter said it's going to be Mid August so soon as they just finished renovating the basement!

I rented out one of the private karaoke rooms for 20 people for a private party. The ambiance was stellar. I pre-ordered some food and alcoholic beverages. Our hostess Alexis was fantastic and super-attentive. Christina (co-owner), Emily, and the rest of the staff, went above and beyond to make sure I had an unforgettable night. Me and my guests had a blast with the karaoke. So many song choices! I highly recommend Bar Mordecai for any private functions!

Only thing wrong I could say is we were completely abandoned by our server, I actually think she finished her shift and left but never had anyone take us. Everything was excellent other than that, some more communication with us would have been great.

From outside, there is nothing spectacular, but once inside, it becomes a warm and inviting venue. From the greeting upon entrance to our friendly server, it made this visit great. The food... our compliments to the chef. The short ribs and potatoes were tasty. While it was a bit of a hike to get there for me, it was definitely worth the trip to try something new. The only reason for 4 stars is because we were beside a group that got really loud, and then the music got louder.
