C	Calgary Fraserway on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a ride with a couple of friends yesterday. Great ranch, horses well taken care off but customer concerns not so much. They use capped or caged stirrups for safety, which is understandable, but when a customer tells you that he cannot get his foot in deep enough and has no support you should address this. This happened to me and I mentioned it to the young girl before we left. She didn't care. I was very uncomfortable the whole ride. I repeated my concern twice during the ride but again no help. After the ride I checked other stirrups and they had some that would have offered more room for my foot. Apparently it was too much trouble to address my concerns.

My horse was well behaved and the staff was friendly. Also it was more affordable than a lot of other places. I will definitely be back!
E	Elena Di Manno on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing ranch! I have gone here for camp for 3 years, next year 4! The horses are all lovely, and they are well groomed and always look happy. They have a big barn for the horses, and they have the most amazing trail rides, we got to see a herd of cows! This place is simply the best riding camp you could get from Calgary and Cochrane. The staff are very friendly, and the volunteers are also very nice. They all have good riding experience, and you can tell they are at ease with the horses. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I wish there was better seating with a bit of shade down where we watch the kids ride. Over all it's a beautiful place and would recommend It!

D	Duane S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The day started off on the right foot, we wanted to take our daughter for her first pony ride. We went to one place just outside Calgary and it was a disaster. Over booking and understaffed we sat around for nearly an hour. Determined to fulfill our promised to our daughter we called Griffin and they promised to have a pony ready when she got there. If you have never been there the Google map gets you in the general area but we had to call and get directions which they were great about. Upon arrival several of the staff getting ready for a larger ride took the time to talk to my daughter and help her fit her helmet. She was ecstatic. Simple process to sign the waiver and pay with as they promised a pony waiting for her. Her name was Chick and was as general as can be. We paid for 30min but didn't watch the clock and if we took more time they said just to let them know and pay later. Facility was clean, horses had a lot of space, and my daughter talked about until she feel asleep which was the best part of all. Thank you Griffin Valley Ranch.
