★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the best trail system in the area. Great for walking, running and cycling. Trails are smooth and well maintained. Its super easy to get multiple hours of exercise and exploration on this trail system. If your adventurous you can combine the trail system with the surrounding logging roads and spend multiple days out exploring in silence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good hike along well maintained and signed paths. The final ascent from the south includes the steepest grades of approximately 16 degrees. Well shaded for the entire length with excellent views of Mount Ida (Salmon Arm) and Sorrento (Shuswap)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long hike. Lovely views of the lake and Blind Bay. Cold and windy at the higher lookout. Perfect weather for a hike through mostly forested land. Big trees, little people and lots of mushrooms!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintained, adequately marked, easy walking trail system. Good for a short walk or a long hike. Starting at Balmoral, there's a small loop, but going up the hill leads to a pleasant, relatively flat ridge walk. The view isn't particularly impressive, but it's a nice forest stroll.
