We were excited to find this place at first, and at least it gives me a funny/annoying story to tell. But not sure why they're gouging customers like this.
P	Paula MacDonald on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a Balderson family gift basket as a sympathy gift for a relative due to a family death. I was very disappointed with the company's communication. The phone was down and I was not given assurance that the basket could be tracked by my email. They are a small family run business but they lack efficiency and no phone availability. The company should have a cellphone available if their phone line is down. I phoned and there was no answer. I had to communicate by email, This is a slow mode of communication and not sufficient for good business transactions. I spent $266 for the basket and had included expedited postal delivery. I did not get expedited service. I felt badly because a 2 day delay in delivery and frustration trying to locate the food basket's where about is not what you want to deal with in a grieving incident. I was truly unhappy with my experience with this food basket company. Paula Macdonald
M	Mike Kalyn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where to start? Sent my dad some cheese a couple years ago for Christmas. Ordered in November, arrived in January. Skipped last Christmas order in lieu of something else. Decided to give them another chance this year but waited til after Christmas to avoid the rush. Ordered Monday, Jan 3rd. Spoke to my dad in BC this morning and still nothing in the mail. So I download the tracking app to see where the package is at. No tracking number available. I call the cheese store to get it. There's no tracking number because it HASN'T SHIPPED YET! 11 Days later! Send your loved one some money and have them buy some meats and cheeses from the grocery store. It will get there quicker. 10/10 for the product. 2/10 for the shipping department. And those 2 are for the lady on the phone who was very polite but vastly unhelpful in explaining why it might take 11 days to ship an order. (so far)
