Baga car and truck rentals

Terrible customer service. The car was dirty and smelled. The trunk was filled with dirt and leaves. Honestly, I should have walked away but I needed the car for a family matter and had no other option. Would not recommend it. Even for $60 a day I wouldn't go back. I recommend paying the extra to get a clean car and good service & hospitality from somewhere else.

After using this car rental place for my out of town weekend, I will never go back to the big chain rental companies that I always used in the past. I had excellent personal customer service, an exceptionally clean and comfortable vehicle to drive, and the price is competitive. I definitely recommend Baga rentals for your car rental needs.

NOBODY IS WORKING, GHOST TOWN Rented a Uhaul truck for tonight @ 5:30pm. Showed up and the doors were locked nobody home . They don’t close until 6pm as posted . Very dirty and sketchy looking office as well. Why does Uhaul parter with these people . SO FRUSTRATING

I am a loyal Enterprise customer for the past 8 years, however I just moved to the Annex area and this car rental company is very close to me. I tried it for the first time today and am hugely disappointed. I called ahead to get a quote on a 1-day car rental and the guy quoted me $67 (all inclusive), which was slightly more than the Yonge-Bloor Enterprise quote but I chose to go with him since he was much closer. I returned the car after 24 hours and was billed $187! He charges $0.25/km after the first 150 km. I have done several 3-day weekend getaways to Montreal and Ottawa for $150 with Enterprise and even Avis (who offer unlimited KM). The most ironic part is that he openly bashes the other rental companies for "hidden costs". It is a scam - do not go to the Dupont location.

I thought it was cheaper than other car rental locations - but not really. Ask for a printed quote before paying, otherwise you may be surprised by what you pay for. Don't fill up gas when returning the car. Their bill will "guess" how much gas you used. I filled up the tank for them for $25 and they still charged me for gas, then refused to refund me and told me that they'll pay $5 to settle the matter. My bill was $30 more expensive than expected (not including gas). However, it seems to be a family business so I'm a little more forgiving - which is why 3 stars instead of 1.

This is a terrific little local spot. Baga is a about a 15 minute walk from our place and we’ve used him for all our occasional rental needs. His prices are good, the selection of cars is limited but Kas takes extra steps to ensure we’re happy, even going so far as to lend us his personal vehicle when we needed on last minute on a Friday morning. Wholly recommend renting from these guys which has a lovely side effect of keeping your $ out of the hands of Avis National Budget and all the rest.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!! I made a reservation for Thursday afternoon and drove an hour to get to the location. When we arrived, the owner just sat in his chair and didnt even greet us. Then when I asked about the reservation, he said there was none (even though I confirmed it with him on the phone earlier that day). He then said to me, and I quote "I don't have time to waste on you, I will deal with your husband". Then he scammed us on the price (we were given a quota of $100 but his price was close to $500). We ended up cancelling the reservation and leaving. The owner should never deal with customers because he has no manners I'm never going there again!!

My experience with Baga Car and Truck Rentals last week was absolutely terrible and I was going to leave it, but now they added fake charges. I booked the rental for 10:00AM, arrived on time and the building was locked with nobody inside, so I waited outside in the wet snow/rain for ten minutes before having to call the Baga Car and Truck Rentals company and tell the owner (I assume) I was waiting outside. On the phone it sounded like the man was waking up and definitely didn't sound like he was 'stuck in traffic'. He didn't get there until 10:21AM, when he let me in, the building reeked of smoke and then he started my paperwork. I did the online check in and apparently he had none of the information and made me go through all of it again. I booked the truck for 5 hours (10AM - 3PM) and I wasn't even on the road until 10:34AM. The truck I was given was filthy (I already sent that picture with the contract), smelled like smoke and had a faulty door lock signal (said it was unlocked when it was clearly closed) that I then returned to the owner and asked about, and he told me "Don't worry I know it does that". Still I took the truck and went about my move, everything was fine until I returned with the truck AT 2:38PM and the building once again was locked with nobody inside. I had to phone the number again and the man on the phone said not to worry and just to drop the keys in the box. I did, and now this receipt claims I returned the keys at 7:15PM!? I will NEVER use this location again and as of this post they have still yet to refund me the charge they made up. Seems like this place is where to go if you wanna get scammed.
