★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped on our way through town today. Really good coffee and treats, super friendly people behind the counter. Spent a bit of time browsing and definitely found books we would have bought if we had spare room in our bags!
Close enough to Trans Canada to make it worth coming off the highway, a million times better than a roadside coffee

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yet another reason to love Golden. The people who work here are super sweet. There is a great selection of books, cards and literary themed gifts. And don’t miss out on the cafe upstairs! The food is so good. Had a nice soup and sandwich for lunch as well as a massive smoothie. Their ploughman’s is perfect for a picnic. Can’t wait to visit again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time I came to visit Golden this is where I was told to stop. Lovely staff, wonderful book selection and delightful food. Also a beautiful patio to enjoy your food and drink! Brought my fella the second time so we could enjoy together! And puppy friendly patio which was great!
