We opened Baby Laurel & Co to provide parents a wonderful and curated shopping experience that makes this journey easy and enjoyable! We truly believe in the shopping experience and the connection and trust that can be built with the community and parents we serve.

The first time I experienced this store was 3 days after an emergency c section because I was SO excited we finally had a store like this in Lethbridge that I hobbled around the store and bought tons of things for me new baby. Since that time I’ve purchased well over $1000 of merchandise as my children have got older because I’m all for supporting local and helping our community however when they had a promotion of buy a $100 gift card for $80 I jumped on the promotion because I wanted to spend MORE at the store. I was promptly told β€œyou can’t do that this promotion is meant for people buying gift cards for others” and that left a bad taste in my mouth... I brushed it off and continued to shop here. The following Christmas I grabbed an angel from the angel tree with intentions of taking it and buying a gift for a child in need and returning it to the tree at baby laurel. I was told however that I needed to purchase the gift in this store which I don’t think is fair and left me feeling pressured and very awkward. I have since STILL spent tons of money at baby laurel despite being made aware of multiple β€œuncomfortable” experiences other moms have had putting it down to a bad day. Don’t get me wrong they have very cute items but the customer service is well below par.

Experiencing my first pregnancy with COVID restrictions has taken away some of the fun of shopping for the future little one but this prompted me to move my searches online. I'm happy to be able to support small Canadian businesses in this time and I'm glad I stumbled upon BabyLaurel's website and able to shop their unique and modern inventory! I personally like that each colour variation of a product is displayed individually so I can easily browse all available items. It made it easy to visually compare and decide what I may like best. The pricing is fair, shipping was fast (I'm on the east coast) and packaged with care. Highly recommend!

We are so lucky to have such an amazing baby store in the city! They get in all the great baby products that are hard to find or source yourself! The store is so well organized and the staff is so helpful and knowledgable. It's dangerous to go in without a strict budget because there's so much awesome stuff! It's the first place I think of for gift cards for expecting moms. Highly recommend checking Baby Laurel out when shopping for your baby or a baby gift!

This review is long overdue since I am a fan girl of Baby Laurel. Krista pours her heart and soul into this wonderful boutique she has created and it so evident from the product offering to the amazing service you experience in store. The fact that you can be on a first name basis with the owner says a lot. Any questions you have are always answered immediately and I never feel silly asking for assistance. I live in Calgary and I will always wait until I visit Lethbridge to purchase my baby (and mama) items from Baby Laurel versus any other store.

Truly disappointed in and surprised by the customer service provided by the owner of this store. We purchased a clek car seat and were excited to see it was Canadian made and that we could support a (semi) local business by purchasing it through Baby Laurel and Co. Unfortunately after bringing the seat to Safety City in Medicine Hat where we live, it was confirmed that the seat we purchased was flawed. We were driving through Lethbridge so decided to take it back personally to the store where we had ordered it online from. Store staff looked apprehensive as we walked in and informed us approximately 3-4 times that the store is not responsible to return β€œgear” for the customer, and that that information is provided to the customer on purchase (yup, I neglected to read the fine print). We asked the sales associate if we couldn’t return the seat to the store for store credit? Nope. The sales associate told us the manager/owner would not have a different message for us but that we were free to contact her and we’re given her card. We indicated while in the store that we thought this was poor customer service (after spending quite a bit of money there, not that that should make a difference). Shortly after Krista/owner called me to address the matter. She reiterated what her staff had told us and then carried on in a negative tone, calling us out on saying we felt there was poor customer service. I can’t recall exactly what she said but it was along the lines of us being aggressive? We were not happy but certainly not aggressive. We would have preferred to speak with Krista initially and not have to have bothered the sales associate. Anyhow, we’ll see how things go with clek. Did not feel anywhere near supported by the owner. Looking for genuine caring, will not shop here again.

Ordered a bassinet online from them. Nine days after the order I received no shipping notification so I finally messaged asking for a status update. I promptly received a reply saying that there was an error in online allocation and that they were unable to fulfill the order and that they were issuing a refund. I can understand supply shortages right now but I don't understand having no customer service or update until I finally messaged them to find out what was going on nine days after placing the initial order. I messaged to let them know my disappointment with the lack of customer service and received a response saying that they never received my email inquiring about my order and that they had just emailed me back unprompted to let me know they couldn't fulfill the order...seems highly unlikely considering it's in my outbox and their response to me came within an hour of me sending an inquiry....

Needed to buy new car seats for an insurance claim and went in to pick up a britax and wait on the Nuna rava but the owner of the store was absolutely amazing and I ended up with the uppababy Knox and I love it more than the Nuna rava. This is the best baby boutique I’ve ever been in. All the staff is welcoming and ready to help!

Hi Krista and staff! Happy new year! I just want to drop a huge THANK YOU for always having incredible staff! I popped in quickly the Thursday before Christmas, an hour before closing and right before a snow storm started. I'm sorry I didn't catch the name of who was working - but she was incredible! Friendly, helpful and sharing the woes that is having a toddler together with me. It was such a breath of fresh air stepping inside; I can't explain how much I loved my time shopping, buying the last part of a baby gift for a friend (not sure why I didn't buy the onsie when I had been in earlier in the month to buy the pants), and grabbed something for our daughter as well. Hope your holidays have been as wonderful as you all are!
