H	Heather Zawada on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Katie was an immense help to me through a rough postpartum. I was so determined to breastfeed but it just didn't seem to want to work between baby and I. Katie and I emailed back and forth after she had been to my house many times to help out with techniques and diagnose underlying issues. My son had silent reflux (which she knew of but many doctors didn't) and a tongue tie that didn't get diagnosed by my midwives! Katie supported my husband and I as I pumped and bottle fed for 3 months while we persevered. I am so happy every time I nurse my baby because we did it and he loves it! Katie encouraged us to never give up, I couldn't have done it without her. She is knowledgable, supportive and non-judgemental, I would recommend her to everyone!

Katie was great at accommodating our schedules and made this experience for us a lot of fun. Katie also made us knowledgeable when it came to breastfeeding as I was not too familiar with it. I knew I wanted to breast fed but had heard it would be difficult. That's when Katie took all my fears away and helped me understand not only the importance of it but how easy it actual can be. I'm looking forward to my baby girl coming soon and being able to give her the best source of food I can. Thanks Katie!

Immediately after reaching out to Katie, she was wonderful and MORE than accommodating. During the meeting, she was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and made everything so comfortable. She listened to our concerns and showed us different positions to help babies with weight gain as well as thoroughly explained the details behind every suggestion. She also gave extra tips on pumping and bottle feeding and really helped us with any questions we had. Katie truly cares about her clients and even remembers and asks for follow-ups from our upcoming doctor's appointments. If you're debating whether or not you could benefit from a Lactation Consultant, DO IT! I wish we had done this visit sooner as it completely put our minds at ease. Thank you for EVERYTHING Katie!! We look forward to speaking with you more in the future!

I was lucky to have Katie support me through the most challenging days of my life. I had a to pump and bottle feed for the first six weeks and then slowly transition my son to the breast. Katie was very supportive and patient with me through all that process! I was able to successfully and exclusively breastfeed my son because of Katie's support. She is a great coach! I personally think that breastfeeding is harder than labour and delivery, it takes a lot of perseverance, dedication and support for a long period of time. Having a good lactation consultant on board was the best decision I made when I planned my son's birth. I should add that a lot of that support offered by Katie was through phone conversations, texting and Facebook messages. I was far away from her but it didn't matter she was my best support! I highly recommend Katie!

It definitely changed my perspective about a lot of things, and for the better. I also contacted Katie hours after giving birth for a lactation consultation, even though there was nothing wrong. It's a good thing I did because it she was able to provide a lot of hands on advice on how to feed better, and make the experience of breastfeeding for the first time less stressful. It was so encouraging to have a certified expert come assess the situation, and provide other perspectives that the nurses and pedestrians don't tell you. It's amazing because she is also an RN, so many of our questions and concerns were addressed. I will be recommending their services to everyone. So valuable, especially for first time parents.

She was my saving grace during those challenging first few days (and weeks) with each baby, and provided me with the guidance, reassurance and confidence I needed to get on the right track with breastfeeding.
