I was having all sorts of anxiety about my upcoming abdomnioplasty surgery, in which I required general anesthesia and the surgeon sewing my separated abdominal muscles back together. This surgery was known to have a brutal recovery, and I wasn't looking forward to that either. Taryna, the owner of Awareness Hypnotherapy was like "you know I can help with all that, right?" Help with my anxiety and post operative healing? Wow, I had no idea, but I was keen to give anything a try to rid of my palpating heart and terrible nightmares. After our session on the Friday before my surgery on the Wednesday, I had incredible sleeps. Even the night before my 7am surgery I didn't feel an ounce of anxiety and slept the entire night like a baby. I woke up feeling well rested, assured, and okay. The best part of it all was my post op healing. I never felt any pain whatsoever. People on my online support groups were acting as if they were on their deathbed - and I kept asking them "what are y'all feeling? I feel great!" My surgeon was even surprised by my quick recovery period. He approved me to go back to full mom duties of lifting my daughter only 12 days post op - something that some women aren't cleared for for months. Of course I waited to tell my husband this because I enjoyed him scrambling to do all of the house work and parenting. Haha, all kidding aside, I would highly recommend going to see Taryna if you have an upcoming surgery! Or any anxiety over anything for that matter. Thank you Taryna, you're better than the drugs they provided me!

When Taryna told me she was going to study hypnotherapy, I knew this was a field that she would excel at as she already had the qualities of a "healer". I came in for a stress and a sleep session as both were very much needed at the time. I was sceptical it would work for me, but after my session I felt happy, at peace, and able to cope with the problems I faced at the time. I also slept like a rock! i recommend hypnotherapy for anyone who needs work on positively improving ones inner self!
