I can say enough about the great customer service, the design and the efficiency that they brought to the job ... I have recommended them as the provider of choice to our Property Management Company .... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone
S	Shaunda Moir on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible and rude customer service! After they didn't show up to scheduled appointment and no call, I called to see what was going on and when we could expect them. I was told by the receptionist "we are scheduled the next day but double booked, so I'm not sure" after a long pause and no foresight of help I asked to speak with the guy who scheduled my appointment, Vince. I called Vince, explained the situation, sounded like he didn't know what i was talking about. He said " yah well we had someone call in sick" I said "okay, do you usually not call to let your customers know? " He said "I've been busy, someone called in sick" OK?! I preceded to say " your receptionist said we are scheduled for tomorrow" He pipes in and says " So you're calling me to complain" My mind blew up and i finished with letting him know I just want to know when they would come.... long story short, I called back to the office to speak to the manager, turns out I was speaking with THE OWNER!! We decided to keep the appointment because we wanted the gate fixed, when i called the next day to see if they were on schedule because it was raining, no answer. I called 5 times over a 3 hours period, both Vince's cell and office. I decided to try calling from my cell, they answered immediately! Coincidence? I think not! Mind BLOWN!!!! I highly DO NOT recommend this company!
G	Gurdarshan Singh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My gate motor at payless truck parts stopped working, Avant guard gates came and installed a newer better version motor for free.Awesome service they stand behind their product. I got 2 gates installed from these guys 2 years ago and absolutely love them.

I live in Victoria, BC and have had on going issues with my rolling gate. I called to order a new circuit board for my BFT gate opener. After talking with the owner Vince he was so honest and said before we take your money why don't we trouble shoot your problem first. In no time he solved my problem. (All over the phone) I needed a new exit wand. A few days later after installing the new wand I had connected the wires as per the old wand and the Circuit board went dead. I called again and had the pleasure of talking to Scott Tomkulak who was just as helpful. Luckily it was only a blown fuse and incorrect wire connection. He followed up with emails of how I should correctly connect the wand to my circuit board. Thanks guys.

K	Kim MacGregor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give 0 stars i would. I was given a quote and time frame to have 5 window grates completed for a strata complex to abide with an inspection. KEVIN strung me along for over 2 months and finally promised they would be completed and delivered Feb 10th. He asked for a 25% deposit - no problem Kevin - tell me where to send it! No emails, no contact. Then i had Theresa call me and send me a bill for 75% deposit. I said thank you and asked when these would be completed before i sent the deposit - now for days and weeks no one answers the phone or emails back. This company is a joke ! Also very similar to what others said above is they dodge calls. Never answer mine, but will answer my husbands calls! Dont waste your time. Now im back to square one - and 5 months behind schedule. Thanks for nothing Avant Guard gates

I was a little worried because of all the mixed reviews out there for fence / gate companies in general (not just for Avant Guard). People seem to have issues with companies responding back. I had an amazing experience with them, Kevin got back to me quickly and went through the entire process. Their team then showed up and had it done quickly and professionally. We are for sure going back to them for any future business and will get them to come back and maintenance our gate going forward. Update: We had an issue with our gate, they came out quickly and fixed it.
