V	Vickie Langford on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner of this shop knows her stuff. I have purchased 4 pairs of dance shoes (I love dance shoes) in the last 6 years and all are of impeccable quality. All four pairs are in great shape still with lots of use. I have purchased from other stores in the past and thought wow I got a great deal, half the price, but in the end those shoes didn't last, and were just crappy shoes from China. You get what you pay for. Either you will have something that you pay double and that last for years. Your feet will love you. Or pay half price Hoping it makes it a year while falling apart on the dance floor?

She replied she doesnt have it but she can sell me another style, right colour but I'll need to buy the belt separately. I went to class and it was wrong colour! I called, she said shes not responsible! And it's not her fault even though she looked at the paperwork herself! Then she hangs up on me. We will never come back, please do not make the same mistake I did! Do not go there. You need to stop lying. This piece of paper with code #1635 was presented to you and you looked it over twice to ensure me the product you sold me was the right colour. You are not honest to your customers and now you are denying the fact you sold me the wrong product on your mistake and admit the truth you hung up on me. Those of you reading this review - do not believe what she's saying!

I've bought multiple dance shoes from Avalon over the years, and have found the owner to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable every time. I also love that they have a large shoe selection which helps when one has narrower than average feet.

Renate knows her stuff. Whether you are new to the dancing scene, a more prolific dancer, or simply want to treat yourself to a pair of dancing shoes, Renate will assist with finding the right pair of shoes that will best fit you. Even with the new-ish location in Delta (personally not as convenient as the former store on Main St.), it is still worth your while to drive there, as you will leave the store with a brand pair of dance shoes that fit like a glove, ready to hit the dance floor!
L	Lauren Bergman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shame in stock, free of charge While undeniably knowledgeable, the owner Renata made me feel like an ugly step sister trying to fit the glass slipper meant for some other more worthy customer. She demanded that I commit to a purchase before she allowed me to try on any shoes whatsoever. I drove 1 hr out of my way to be treated as a trifler. As a grown woman who is only an amateur social dancer, I already felt intimidated before entering a shop where I am sure the child ballerinas are more knowledgeable than myself. You may find the shoe for your needs here, but harden your heart before entering. If you bring children, beware to guard their confidence though I expect she may treat an adorable aspiring dancer better than she did myself no matter my credit limit. Though there is no replacement for her experience and inventory, shame is in plentiful supply and free of charge at Renata’s.
