She was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to do research on our behalf. She was calm, helpful, and supportive through our frustration with our realtor, and in general she provided timely and helpful advice, information, and guidance and was extremely responsive to our questions - we never had to wait to hear back from her when we reached out about anything, even when she was on vacation while we were waiting for closing. She was genuinely excited and happy for us, and made us feel even better about our purchase. I would use her again in a heartbeat, and am happy to recommend her to anyone else as well, whether you are buying in the GTA or beyond. Anita if you see this - thanks so much for everything!

She was available all the time and she knew what she was doing. Even thought was a difficult situation for us she made us feel everything was under control. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anita was really great to work with. I reached out to her last minute two years ago to urgently review some initial documents on the sale of my condo. She jumped in to help but was out of country during the time of the closing so she took the time to recommend someone else to me to reach out to handle the full deal. This time around, she handled my purchase of a home. The requirements around a home purchase were a little different and I had some issues that I wanted her to look into before the closing. Anita wasted no time and jumped in to try and help get this resolved before the closing. She also took time to sit with me and go through all of the documentation, explaining in detail and in language I could understand. Additionally, her flexibility in where she can meet you and to accommodate your schedule is also fantastic. True pleasure to work with and I'll be using her for additional services. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Anita to others!

She was quick to respond and provided great advice. In our case we were dealing with a tight deadline for the closing. With Anita overseeing the proceedings, we had the peace of mind. She was always on top of things to ensure everything went smoothly and all the formalities were completed in a timely manner. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply crooks here. My finance and I are new to Toronto and we were looking for a condo and came across Anita. Reviews seemed pretty good so we reached out. First of all, it took two tries of "I'll call you back" for her to actually connect with us. She suggested to represent us and also do the legal works, which I didn't know was possible but we are new to the market so we trusted she knew the rules. She quoted us $1800 and said we are getting a huge discount. But it seemed kind of pricey to us, so we poked around some small and big firms to get a sense of pricing. Long story short, we learned $1800 was NOT even including a thing called disbursement and most other lawyers of her firm size were charging at least $500 less. Needless to say, if she can lie about something this small, how can we trust her to negotiate for us on good faith.
HARD PASS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am writing this a few years after my experience in case it brings to light a pattern of behaviour. I sold my condo myself and the deposit was given to Anita from the time of the offer to the sale. When it came time for closing, Anita didn't include the deposit in my cheque. She claimed it was just an oversight (and it may have been) but looking back, I can see how easy it would be for her to just say that and keep my money. She had to send me an e-transfer for the deposit amount a couple of days after the closing. It's nagged for me years that maybe this was done on purpose and if I hadn't realized, I would have been out thousands of dollars.
UPDATE: In response to your response, I want to say that my review is genuine but I have no reason to reach out to you several years after the fact. I am just stating what happened to me. This definitely happened but I cannot say if it was an honest mistake or not. In any case, it was unprofessional. We spoke about the deposit a day or two before the closing and you STILL did not include it in my cheque. I do not have anger towards you, I am only speaking about my honest experience with you.
