Pros:
- Very good software
- Sets industry standards for AEC and Design/Media industries
Cons:
- Incredibly expensive
- Rising costs that are not justified
- Meager user support
- Greater focus on shareholder value at the expense of user experience
Honestly, if I could do my work without ever using Autodesk software I would. Unfortunately that is not possible as they have worked themselves into a controlling share of the market for AEC software. I do give them credit for building a large company that does produce useful software.
