They scheduled a time for pick up and showed up on time. Best part of it was that they paid me top dollars compared to the other companies I called. The entire process was seemless.

S	Syan Baker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ read below for updated situation. I called and they gave me a price of $1,300 for 3 vehicles. I asked several times if he needed any additional information on the car's condition he said no, its just for scrap so we don't care about the condition of the car. the first guy shows up and lowers the price by $250. I tell him as long as the price doesn't go below $1000 it's alright. he guarantees me it won't. the second guy comes and lowers the price $200. I call the office to ask why and they hang up mid call and block my number. I asked them to leave the third car but they decided to take it anyway. UPDATE: a manager named Avtar called me and is working with me to reconcile the situation. He told me if I can get some documents to him he will honor the promised price of $1000. The phone dispatcher that hung up on me has received a written notice. I feel relieved that the situation is being handled. I will update again once everything is settled. changing my rating from a 1 star to a 4. UPDATE 2: Everything has been reconciled. I'm now happy with how things ended. I'm leaving my rating at 4 stars as the whole situation was very stressful for me. auto scrappers ended up applying for the necessary documents as I was unable to due to personal reasons. in the end I got $950 for all 3 cars.

If I could do it again, I'd be more patient before agreeing to any sort of scheduled pick-up's, and go thru RetireYourRide.ca instead, for a less ambiguous process. I say this because I could have received 26% more money over the Auto Scrappers deal, if I had slowed down and gone thru RetireYourRide.ca instead. Experience with Auto Scrappers: Received a call from them after submitting a quote request on their website. Mentioned to them the quotes I got from other local scrap car recycling businesses (all quotes surprisingly equaling the same amounts). Caller from Auto Scrapper offers to pick up for 6.25% over market quote, and we schedule for next-day pick-up. Communication is good, and tow worker is on-time, and car is inspected for its catalytic converter. Finally, tow worker offers 65% of original quote I got on the phone from them. I decide to take the cash and be done with it. It took only 20 minutes for inspection, transaction, and towing, so good job for that thanks! If I were to do things differently, I would've just listed the scrap car with RetireYourRide.ca, a program run by the association Automotive Recyclers of Canada (ARC), and let the different auto recyclers bid on the vehicle and be sent a cheque. I got a final bid 26% over what I received from Auto Scrappers, but by then the car was already out of my possession. Word of advice, anything having to do with money, just slow yourself down and be deliberate.

Not only was the driver professional and punctual, I also recieved the best market price for my Dodge Challenger compared to other quotes I got from similar companies. Overall great experience and I highly recommend their services!
