A word to the wise. It is now 2022, we have endured an extremely difficult time due to the COVID pandemic. Several members of this Legion know only too well how easily COVID spreads. Stay safe, don't let your guard down. Also, if you're an existing member or considering becoming a new member, be causious with whom you trust especially if you should decide to become a volunteer. It is not always a good outcome. Don't set yourself up for disappointment as the politics involved with this branch can be quite insulting. Years of hard work and dedication can be twisted to the point of harming a person's reputation especially when new executives are elected. People tend to protect their positions by taking pleasure in finding fault with previous executives. Something to keep in mind !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Established Canadian Legion. Decor is a bit dated. Attended a 70th birthday celebration at this place. Decent sized hall with good bar and kitchen facilities. Staff are very attentive and courteous. The washrooms are clean and up to standard. Good quality table linens and tableware- comparable to any good banquet hall. Ample free parking is available around the building. They have a used book sale at the entrance. A live band was playing on the upper level so there must be a functioning restaurant on the premises.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though the event was for the passing of a friends father this facility was able to provide a sobering way to say goodbye. Thank you to the staff for making it a safe and warming place to gather and share memories of such a wonderful man.
