If you want a quick beat and slather with no communication, then this is the place for you. If you want a relaxing, pampered, cared-for experience - go somewhere else. I was early. She was 10 mins late. My facial took 40 mins (not the 55 advertised) and I have no idea what she did. No consultation. No asking me what I needed or what my concerns were. I actually had to ask her if we were going to talk first, told her I had never had a facial before. She says "you will see". Then I got the roughest facial ever. Felt like an impatient grandmother who had been doing the job for far too long. Just another facial to her. Front desk staff didn't ask me how it was. I just stood there with my credit card, angry and upset, watching them scurry around trying to figure out how much to charge me. I left as fast as I could. Definitely not what I was expecting.

I first went here on a request from someone I had worked with who said she goes there all of the time. When I walked in my first thought was how cluttered it was. It didn't look tidy, let alone clean. They had way too much that they were selling from necklaces to purses, plus skincare. It's a spa, not a gift store. The second time I went for a facial and a brow waxing. What I was appalled at, is how I didn't fill out any paper work asking me about skincare concerns and health concerns. As a certified renowned professional makeup artist that has been to spas since I was a teenager, mainly the luxury spas who always make it a policy for you, the client to fill out paper due to them being safe from law suits in case any skin care products get into your system that could alter my health. That salon would be liable for anything that happens to my health with whatever products the lady had put on me during the facial. Meaning they can be served with a law suit. Since they didn't receive my signature of understanding policies after I had stated my health concerns and skin concerns, etc.For example, pregnant women cannot use all skin care products and treatments, the same goes for those who have high blood pressure like body wraps. That is huge for both of them to stay clear away from. The first time I had went it was to receive an eye brow waxing, it was fine. Due to lack of talking, the lady was able to concentrate and do a good job. I went back thinking it may better the next time. Man how wrong was I. During the facial, the lady I could tell later that day after the facial she had put the wrong products on me, as I had massive break outs. Anyway, during the procedure, the lady talked throughout. I'm talkative, except when I'm being pampered. Then, I'm dead silent; only speaking when being spoken to. I like to relax. Not one thing was explained during the facial. I like knowing what is going on my face. If the aestheticism leaves, I like to know the length of time. She had told me that she was going to do extractions after she had already begun, so I didn't have an option to object to it. I don't need the procedure. I have ALWAYS been asked, as it is MY choice to decide if I want the procedure. It is painful. The brow waxing was just as painful. I have had brow waxing performed since I was thirteen, never I have I experienced such pain. My break outs were horrid and lasted for a month. I had decided that I would not ever go back to this spa. I'm looking else where.

Stacy just gave me the best massage I’ve EVER had! It was just the right amount of pressure to be effective, but also relaxing. She followed direction in regards to areas I wanted her to avoid or concentrate on perfectly. She followed my cues, and let most of my massage be in silence, other then to check in on the pressure and my comfort. I will definitely be asking to see her for my next massage!

I've been seeing Wilma for years for my facials and she is wonderful. Knows her stuff, knowledgeable, generous with advice or little extras. The staff is always great on communication and very accommodating. I always leave feeling calm and relaxed with a glowing face. Highly recommend!

My lash tint and lift my eyelid was burnt or something. It had a little cut on it, which went on to form a scab. Not ideal for the vacation pictures.

We had a girls day there today and it was fantastic from start to finish. Everything was organized and every single person knew all their stuff and was really informative. Will ? be back soon!

I hate to echo some of the mixed reviews because the ladies are wonderful, however have to be honest. Husband got me a whole day package, so I got to try several areas. (Short version-massage is great, pedicure good, facial is a hard no, and try not to trip over impulse purchases.) General: On arrival it was very cluttered, there’s jewelry/fashion and home spa (from creams to tools) stuff EVERYWHERE. There’s a spot to take off shoes and use spa sandals but I totally missed it being distracted by all the stuff. The staff was unorganized with both forms and scheduling what order to do treatments in, which I found odd considering the appointment had been booked for two weeks, they had plenty of notice to prepare. Massage: The massage with Stacy was amazing. Excellent communication before during and after to ensure the best service, and even provided a receipt for that portion for benefits. Facial: Another user said it succinctly: like a grandma who’s done too many. She didn’t ask me anything about my skin, my issues, or even if I’d ever had a facial before; she was rough, and left the room several times. The only thing that was explain what it was or what it was for was some zit cream, after letting it sit and coming back to ask if it had stung while it sat. When I asked other women why ANYONE ever endures this torture, they all say something was very wrong, they have never had treatments like this elsewhere. Pedicure: Personally I find subjecting someone to my feet very awkward, but the staff here was fantastic. Professional and conversational, keeping me both informed on what was being done and why as well as distracted by interesting conversation. At this point of the day treatment package you get a lunch from the adjacent cafe, which is delicious, but a bit awkward to eat while seated over a small water bath. The pedicure room also has you facing right to the till and front door, trying to avoid weird eye contact could have been prevented by closing the door but I’m not sure there’s room around all the extra product for sale.

So, I got a gift certificate for Christmas. I booked a microdermabrasion facial, lash lift, and tint. I don’t know who performed my service, because she never introduced herself. This lady asked me nothing about my skin, my issues, what I was hoping to correct - nothing. She did ask “would you like me to clean up around your eyebrows” and I said yes. The facial itself was very rough, there was absolutely no explanation about anything she did, partway through she asked me about allergies, and then removed her latex gloves, after telling her that I’m allergic to latex. Reader, she waxed off half my eyebrows so now I look like I’m stuck in the 90’s. I don’t even have the words to describe how terrible my lashes are, they’re essentially stuck to my eyelid and have no curl on my left eye, and the right eye doesn’t look like I got a lift. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
