This is the first time I’ve stayed at an inn / auberge that didn’t have a coffee machine nor a mini fridge. A coffee machine is an absolute must in every hotel room. Very inconvenient. Well located but seriously lacking.

We stay 2 days, very charming, comfortable, clean rooms, the food was absolutely devine, the service perfect, the very best cassoulet, the desserts to die for...and affordable to all Knowlton,a real gem for a relaxing time Highly recommended

A funky town hotel, comfortable and interesting. We were a couple for one night. Amenities good. Enjoyed the big shared outside balcony with our own snacks and drinks. Walked the town streets after dark. However 100 big trucks took over the ambiance in the morning! They came from 4 directions and awkwardly turning in the main intersection right beside the building.

Really unfortunate experience but, the fire alarm started going off at 2230 until 0200 and the managers had no idea they were supposed to call the fire department to re-set the panel. In any event, beds were less than comfortable with paper thin pillows that stacked 4 high were equal to about 1 regular pillow. I get this is a historic building but the bathrooms are from the 80's with mildew in the shower grout, and a 15 inch tv positioned 10 feet from the bed. Service in the restaurant was great but the burgers were bone dry and bland.

Room was clean and cozy with comfy beds. Quick hot water in the shower which was appreciated after a day of skiing. Strong Wi-Fi signal in the room and throughout the building.

The rooms were relatively clean, if a bit spartan and tiny. It felt like it was furnished with leftovers from a recently deceased relative's home with no real attempt at decor. The walls were paper thin and no one made any effort to keep voices down in the common areas - we were awakened every 20 minutes from about 7:45 am on. Restaurant had a mediocre breakfast, and service was very spotty. Apparently there is a coffee machine and a "shared veranda" somewhere, but we were never told about it. We were charged 140$ plus tax and as I look around today, I see that prices are advertised as much lower. Unfortunate experience and we will not be back.

Loved my stay here. This is a more authentic place and some of the better food in town. If you are hungry try the casserol. The meat is tender, the soup is rich, grab a glass of red wine and you are in for a great meal!

Lovely little hotel. The support staff were excellent and very hands on. A step set of interior stairs to access check in and the rooms but very quaint and great location. Parking was scarce and no handicapped parking provided but we were accomodated
