★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cécile and Tony were excellent hosts. Room was modern and very clean. Service and food was outstanding. Worth every penny. Highly recommend this Auberge. Location is great. 2 minute walk to the lake!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Chez Ignace (on the trail) on the first night of our bike trip on Le P'tit Train du Nord. There is a shed to store bicycles, an outdoor hottub, a path down to Lake Nominingue, and a bar. Our host Cecile offered us a kir (made with homemade cassis) and a local beer on tap, which was tasty, even to a non-beer drinker like me. Our evening dinner was fantastic - presentation was beautiful, the food was delicious and portions were ample. I had the pork tenderloin and the accompanying sauce was incredibly good.
Breakfast was also very good - juice, coffee, tea, a French crepe, portion of an omelet, yogurt, croissant, brie cheese and ham. Again, tasty and filling. One of our party was vegan and ate gluten-free and this was accommodated. Rooms were comfortable, with private bathrooms and good water pressure. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was such a beautiful and peaceful experience. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! The owners (recently moved here from France) are utterly fantastic. They are so kind and welcoming and genuine. You feel as if you have known them forever. Tip: try their private import vin rose and champagne!! It comes from their own vineyards in Languedoc and Champagne. And I have to mention the food as well....spectacular!!! The service, the presentation and the flavours!! You can’t go wrong. Can you tell I absolutely loved it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The perfect stop for cyclists! Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and exceeded expectations. Owners are friendly, rooms are cozy, and grounds are relaxing. Sunset at the dock was an unexpected bonus!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whatever we had expected after cycling from Mont-Laurier, this beat it. For a place that is a little off the beaten path (way less touristy than Tremblant for example), this little Auberge has loads of character, friendly staff, access to a beautiful lake, and a relaxing, tasteful vibe. What really sets it apart is the incredible dinner service. It was as good or better than any high-end restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I not recommend this place if you are looking for tranqillity during the winter, full of group of people a lot of noice you need of earplugger to be able to sleep , change the room at last minute with worse one, the food was not fresh

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful stay. We arrived after a full day of cycling in hard rain and were greeted warmly and enthusiastically by Cecile. She dried our clothes and fed us a great dinner and breakfast. We would return in a heartbeat. This is a place with heart and passion in the true auberge spirit.
