Great staff, very sweet. Solid English, great classic breakfast. Room was a lil dingy but it's a motel near the middle of nowhere so it was quite nice :)

The motel is clean, strong wifi, rooms fantastic, tv cable variety of channels, comfortable parking. The negative thing only was in the morning at restaurant, where is coffee free for guests and servers saw us in flip flops and shorts and asking just for coffee, instantly she handling me a bill for $6. So, it's not first time I'm staying at this motel, I say coffee is free for motel tenants. She turned on herself to dummy and said you're right.

Stayed there one night due vehicle break down heading to NS. Staff were super accommodating. They helped is transfer our personal effects from the garage to the hotel. They were also flexible on checkout time as our ride back to NS arrived the following afternoon. The room staff were excellent and very polite. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel in the future and highly recommend it for anyone in a similar situation or visiting this beautiful location along the St Laurence.

Loved our stay at Auberge Cap Martin en route from NB to Ontario. We have often driven by this spot and mused about how nice it would be to stay a night and explore the paths along the St Lawrence River. We stayed in a room with two double beds and an exterior.door on the ground floor which was very convenient while.travelling with 4 young kids and our dog (allowed to stay for a small fee). Room was nothing luxurious and could probably use a cosmetic update but was very clean and functional for our purposes. There is a field with horses next to the parking lot which was neat for the kids and added to the ambiance. Restaurant was not open for supper which was disappointing but we got delicious poutine from a nearby foodstand. We took breakfast from the restaurant to our room in the morning. Average food, a little overpriced but I'm sure covid has raised prices for many things and the price was worth the convenience. The bicycle path along the river connects to the hotel parking lot via a bike path along the road (about 800m). I felt safe running along it but would not walk with young kids. (Instead we drove to a visitors centre with parking nearby to take kids). Path was absolutely stunning and very quiet in the early morning. Lots of picturesque views. Great friendly service from front desk, would definitely return!

When I arrived at 3pm the restaurant was not open and the manager? Told me there would be nothing until 5:30am. Now at the time I wasn't concerned because I was tired and just wanted a place to sleep. But the worst thing was the door to my room lock and neither did the two other locks on the door. I used a chair to brace the door. Why would she place me a woman in a room that doesn't lock? Then it says on this site it is open 24 hours. It is not! I'm not sure when it was closed but it won't have anyone back until 5:30 am. Not a way to do business!!!!!!!room

One of the worst motel experiences in Canada to date. Outdated and uncomfortable rooms with 2 flat pillows on rolling bed frames with lumpy mattresses and good old scratchy wool blankets on the bed that leave fibres on the sheets to keep you itching long after your stay. Very few amenities in the room and the cheapest of the cheap toiletries. Walls are thin and can hear people talking in the room on either side. Realistically if this is your only choice I would opt to just sleep in the car. The 160$ for a double bed room would go alot farther literally anywhere else.
