You have an employee driving your work van going south on No. 4 road between Granville and Blundell who cut me off "dangerously". Cutting me off isn't a problem. The problem is he "flicked" me off after. Thank you so kindly. This happened just before 5pm today.

How this company drives on the road must reflect them as a business. Cut me off, which is ok cause I was going to get out of the lane anyway, then watched him continue to tailgate the guy in front of him with literally a meter in between them ON THE BRIDGE going 100! Not the best advertising technique.

Our basement flooded and we needed a lot of work done. Atlas was quick to fit us in, the workers were always on time and they even cleaned up after themselves! We were very impressed with the service and workmanship - thank you Atlas for restoring our basement!

When I first acquired the property in Burquitlam that I was hoping to eventually move in to with my family, I was initially rather upset with the condition that the house had been left in. Since my purchase of the building, I had been traveling for quite some time, and was rather devastated to discover upon my return that the interior was not kept up to shape with modern decor standards. Frustrated, I decided to look into finding a company that could really fix things up in terms of painting as well as the wooden floors, which had fallen into disarray. The first contracting company that I hired to look at the restorations actually laughed and tried to charge me an exorbitant fee for their efforts. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to stumble upon Atlas, who managed to come in and get the job done expediently and effectively, no questions asked. They provided sage advice in regards to which types of materials we should use, as well as the varieties of paint that they offered for the walls. The workers were very patient and clearly had my best interests in mind, as together we actually assembled a plan to fix the place up. Once they set to getting the job done, they behaved in a very professional manner, something that one doesn't often see with people in trades professions. The entire restoration was done surprisingly quick, and the end results were spectacular. Not only were the floors re furnished in an exquisite fashion, but the walls also looked phenomenal as well. Overall, I was immensely satisfied with their service and would sincerely recommend them to anyone looking to get some high end renovations done on their residence. From speaking with the employees, I could tell that they were accustomed to working on some very advanced, technical projects as well, including old heritage buildings, which I am sure they treated with the utmost respect and dignity.

Right from our initial consultation up to the finished product, the entire experience was exceptional. For example, last night during our final walk around to review your work, my fellow Council members were very impressed with your willingness to go that "extra mile" and fulfil our wishes no matter how small they were. During the many years that I have been on the Strata Council, I have never had as much fun working with a Contractor. I believe I've mentioned to you that the work you and your staff have done has taken years off the appearance of our complex and has no doubt extended the life of our buildings. I recently had the inside and outside of my house repainted after deciding that it was time for a change. I had never done such a major overhaul so I was a bit nervous but Atlas Painting helped me choose a colour scheme, which was a huge help as I don't have a great eye for design. The pallet they came up with looks great! I'm so proud to show off the upgrade to family and friends. Atlas employees were incredibly polite and respectful of my home while they were working. They were clean and tidied up after themselves always. They were always willing to talk me through what they were doing or answer any of my questions. They made me feel comfortable and listened to. If you are looking for a friendly, professional crew to do some painting around your home/business/etc., I would recommend talking to the guys at Atlas.

This was my experience with Atlas Painting: 1. Received a quote to paint a 1,100 sqft condo. Received an invoice when the job was done for 40% more than what was initially quoted for. They said removal of mirror and wall paper (which was already included in the initial quote) took longer than they assumed it would take. The removal of this big mirror was the first thing they've done and they did not mention once of this additional cost until we were invoiced. They said that they were NOT required to discuss this additional cost with us, but a good contractor would bring this kind of issue (especially when there is a 40% increase) with the client when they first discover the problem. 2. The owner tried to convince us to just lay new laminate floors over the existing laminate floors to eliminate the cost of removing the existing floors. We told him that research says NOT to lay floating floors over another floating floors, but he said he has been doing this for 40 years and there has not been any issues. But when we called the flooring manufacturer to ensure the warranty will not be void if we followed the owner's suggestion, they told us the warranty will be void. 3. The owner was very friendly and kind while trying to get our business but once the work started, he became aggressive especially when he found out we were not going to use Atlas for additional work. He often raised his voice and were very unprofessional. 4. Their painter somehow got my mom's phone number and called her privately to "remind" her of how much work it was to remove the mirror and to justify for the additional cost after we were invoiced. He also mentioned to her that if she doesn't pay, he does not get paid. The painter should not be calling their customers and discussing these matters. Overall, we had a very negative experience with Atlas. We found a new contractor to finish our renovation and they have been very professional and clear with their communication/work. They have called a couple of times when they encountered something unexpected (minor) and consulted us prior to proceeding. There are so many contractors in Richmond so I would go with one that is more transparent with issues and additional costs if you don't want any surprises when you are invoiced.

I had the pleasure of working with Atlas painting for a commercial project. Very professional, knowledgeable and responsive. All the qualities you want your expert to have so that you can trust them with the project. They also provide other services (other than paint) so you don’t have to work with several contractors if you have a reno project.
