After a life altering medical episode in 2020 we realized we would have to renovate our 1962 bungalow to suit our needs rather than move. We contacted Alex who visited our home and gave us an extraordinary reno estimate being mindful of our limited budget. We had a two bedroom one bath house just under 900 square feet. When finished we now are proud to say we have a three bedroom and two bathroom house. Our basement was a typical 70's era rec room including a gaudy dry bar. The furnace side was totally unfinished with several safety and tripping issues we have dealt with over the years we have lived here. Alex was our main contractor and supplied a well oiled group of sub-contractors who completed the necessary work, including plumbing, electrical, dry wall and painters as well as flooring specialists. He also assigned a site supervisor who kept work on task and efficient. The supervisor even pitched in to clean the construction zone, as well as complete finishing details once the various trades had completed their work. We now boast a beautifully finished Master Bedroom with a lighted walk-in closet including custom organizer for my wife as well as a huge closet for myself. A complete three piece bathroom, and a separate laundry room. The safety and tripping issues are resolved, and when it does come time to move, we can say all was done within code and permits acquired. Now that we have our Master in the basement, they also supplied a legal egress window for our safety. Job well done Alex! We would not hesitate to refer you to our family and friends.
