★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the lunch express chicken souvlaki with Greek salad, potatoes and the tastiest tzatziki. Ordered dolmades as an appetizer and that was yummy too. Great value and the perfect portion. Third time I've eaten at an Astoria this summer and the food and service is top notch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No stars! I have been a patron of Astoria for many years. They have hosted so many of our family get-togethers and in the past we have throughly enjoyed the restaurant. I have noticed over the last few years that the prices have increased drastrically and have eaten there less and less since. Last night we decided to give them a shot and ordered delivery through UberEats. The price for a SMALL pork souvlaki was $24.99 (due to Uber) priced at $20.99 on their menu. I have to say it was horrible. Dried out, half burned and mostly rice. Not to mention their container size is a fraction of what it used to be. I am so disappointed! I understand increasing prices in these times...but when the quality deteriorates as well it is really unfortunate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing venue - the decor has you feeling like you’ve been transported into a friendly greek home.
We ordered 2 dips, and 2 souvlaki plates. The plates came but our waitress had forgotten about the dips. We patiently waited and when she checked in and realized, she apologized and got our dip right away.
She later went as far as offering baklava on the house and especially after hearing it was my birthday. We also asked for a phone charger and another staff member was able to help us out.
Overall really solid. Huge portions .. I would personally go for the chicken souvlaki over the pork next time , just because the cuts were too thick and too fatty for my preference.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly fantastic and authentic Greek food. Service was quick and friendly. I forgot how cool the decor is in this restaurant. It was also fresh and cool with the hot weather inside.
You have to have the saginaki. It's an experience here and a must try if you love cheese. The chicken and lamb souvlaki plates are very generous with both potatoes and rice and the meat.
Great experience and will be going back again.
