Create therapy plan / strategy
Making headway requires a clear roadmap. Based on the assessment, the therapist will tailor a program designed specifically for each client. Where appropriate, referrals to other specialists will also be made. During the course of treatment, the therapist constantly adjusts the program based on the progress and needs of the individual. Associated Speech works to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field - and incorporates new modes of treatment when appropriate. The therapy strategy may include individual therapy and/or group therapy.
Social language groups are available for both a Fall course and a Winter course for children between the ages of 6 and 20. Each session is comprised of 10 one-hour sessions over 10 consecutive weeks. An assessment is required prior to the student’s enrolment in the group. The groups are designed to assist children with the art of social interaction and communication.
Individual intensive programs are available in the month of July.
