K	Kim Dugas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you aren’t sure if you are ready to make the move to Cedar Crossing please read on. We For over a year my mother kept saying she wasn’t quite ready. Then, one day Cody called to say he had her suite ready. We went for lunch and a tour and to my surprise she said Yes! Mom loved it! She wished she had moved in sooner. She would often say “what was I waiting for?” Mom made many new friends, participated in the daily activities and loved the staff. I have to say Cody was her favourite. Sadly, mom passed away recently while living at Cedar Crossing.Mandie and the staff could not have been more caring and compassionate towards our family. We are at peace knowing our mom was well cared for by the entire Cedar Crossing staff. Thank you so very much.
K	Kevin Funnell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We moved my Mother to Cedar Crossing in October of 2020. It was extremely important that my Mom would reside in a safe and nurturing environment. The daily activities at Cedar Crossing provide her the opportunity to socialize and give structure to her day. This was especially important in light of the pandemic where seniors living alone could easily be isolated. It’s super exciting to see the residents enjoying activities on their FaceBook page. This setting allows my mother to have independence with the security that there is always someone there to help. A representative from the wellness team is available 24 hours a day. The meals are nutritious, well presented, and locally sourced from produce and businesses in the community. The staff at Cedar Crossing go above and beyond to care for their residents. It’s obvious that this is not just a job to them. They care for the residents like their own family members. My Mom often remarks that the staff "go out of their way" to help. As a daughter who doesn’t reside in the area, this gives me comfort and reassurance that she is in the right place. Communication with the management and wellness team staff is excellent. The staff is always available to provide updates on her needs and aid in the coordination of additional care. Every staff member provides an integral role in the care of the seniors who reside there. I am grateful for the care my Mother receives at Cedar Crossing. I send my sincerest thank you to all of you.
