They tried to tell me how perfect it looks but I ended up with a short bob when I asked for shoulder length with layers. I have the haircut of every other mom on the planet and I’m only 18. I am extremely saddened and almost wanted to cry when i left the building. The teacher only made my hair worse, the student doing my hair had it at a fair length until the teacher came to “fix” it, which make it horrendous. :( I’m embarrassed to even go out.

As a mature student I was nervous about being the "older" student in the class having been out of school for 20 years! But I was always treated fairly and with respect. This experience was everything I thought it would be and so much more! It is truly amazing how much I learned from one week to the next. One of the things I LOVED about Art and Technique is the fact that they focus on HANDS ON skills from day 1! It is so important to put the theory knowledge to the test on a daily basis. The educators are amazingly talented I know that I received the BEST training you could find which will allow me to be a very successful Cosmetologist. I highly recommend recommend Art and Technique for anyone interested in persuing a career in the beauty industry!

COVID cuts are a thing, ya know. 1) COVID related: 5/5 Screening - 5/5 Expectations, Clear and communicated - 5/5 Adherence (Within reasonability): 5/5 2) Interactions & Service: 5/5 Reception - 5/5 - Was greeted and welcomed by Stephanie. Polite, friendly, and prompt. Hairstylist - 5/5 - Christi fixed my bad-self cut COVID hair... Friendly, careful, and capable. Thanks Instructor - 5/5 - there was an instructor who oversaw the cut. She was engaging and involved in using opportunities for instruction and direction in a way that gave me comfort 3) Facility: 5/5 Cleanliness - 5/5 - quite well kept and orginized, no clutter or craziness.
S	Sara Harvey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here for my first perm ever, and this place was a great decision. it is much cheaper than "professional" salons, and the finished product turns out as good, or even better, as a regular salon. The students are well educated, and there is a supervisor always around. Everyone is so nice there, after I got many compliments, and it turned out fantastic. I would definitely recommend this to everyone I know, and they can do pretty much anything! I am for sure going to go back.

Luckily I had the best teachers ever who listened, who were patient and always wanted the best for there students. They weren’t only teachers but mentors. The course itself was amazing. You get hands on experience basically after the first week of being there, which is why I chose this school. For me I’m a hands on learning so the more clients I did and the more I worked with my teachers the more I loved hairstyling and being at the school. They work with you and your schedule and when life happens they understand. If I could I would go back !! Mrs. Swan is the absolute sweetest and best mentor I could’ve ever had. Miss her dearly.... would definitely recommend this school then any other one!

The students who provide the services are extremely talented and also provide excellent service. I had the pleasure of having a hair treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic and felt that the salon took measures to ensure that I felt safe. I always recommend Art & Technique Academy to my friends and family as the pricing can't be beat!

The staffs are super friendly and the girl with yellow hair ( sorry I don’t know your name)even lend me her phone so i could make a call! Thanks again for making my hair look awesome!

I quickly was taught how important it is to have paying client in your chair that trusts you. I also got experience answering phones and waving clients goodbye after checking them out behind the desk! I’ll never forget my time at A&T and will always treasure it.
