Art of Emotions

@artofemotions gallery is a top quality gallery. The curator, Irina, is a very caring and personable artist who is motivated to help emerging and experienced artists succeed. I have had the opportunity to enter works in, “The Joy of Summer” and the “Faded But Beautiful” exhibitions and have enjoyed high exposure in both. I look forward to many more exhibitions ahead! @lyndaflanaganart

A wonderful brand new gallery that concentrates on introspective and emotionally invested art, and not only on representative or decorative. A very needed addition to the Toronto art scene.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my recent experiences with this new Toronto gallery. Irina is a passionate and creative owner who is eager to share work by a very interesting range of Canadian artists.

Art of Emotions is a wonderful Toronto gallery, brightly lit with a combination of small rooms for intimate viewing and open spaces that are suitable for large works. It shows off artwork of all kinds very well.

I thank the owner of the Ar of Emotions Gallery Irina, for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the “Faded but Beautiful” show of the fall of 2021. It was a pleasure to work with her. She is an amazing art curator and lovely person to work with. I will be more than happy to continue working together in a future. Gallery has a variety of artworks for every taste. This is what makes the gallery interesting. Either it’s an oil, pastel, or charcoal…Landscape, portrait or still-life, you can find it all in one space. The gallery is pretty new and had only 3 shows so far, but all of them were successful! Well, you have to see it, to believe it! ? Two of the “masks” paintings were sold at the @art_of _emotions_gallery. Another two still available. More art works of mine you can see @ellana_delmar. I will NEVER work with this gallery again. What a nightmare! I mailed $13,000 worth of artwork there for an open call show. I emailed the owner (Irina) to say they would be there Thursday. She kept sending me emails before then telling me they had not yet arrived for some reason, and then I never heard anything Thursday or after confirming that they had. During the week of the show, I emailed to say I could not pick up my work on the weekend after the show (I was driving 4 hours just to get there and needed a full day) and received no reply. After three days, I emailed again, with no reply. The following day I looked for a phone number to call the gallery, and there was no phone number! I was panicking. I emailed again and again for 10 days with no reply! Panicked, I decided to google the owner, knowing she was a psychologist, and found a number for her psychology practice (which is actually in the same building) and was finally able to get in contact with her wonderful receptionist, Maria, and arrange for a pick up. This all took 11 days of effort. After Maria agreed to be there so I could pick up my work, I finally received an email from Irina stating she had "a fever, etc." which is why she couldn't reply. You've got to be kidding me! Aside from Maria, who was lovely and helpful, yet who was not technically even a part of the gallery, this was a completely unprofessional and frustrating experience. I'm relieved I got my work back (I even picked up a panicked friend's work because when Irina finally emailed her back after many days, she said she "was busy and would mail it back whenever she had free time". She even had the nerve to ask my friend for a good review on Google.) I saw several angry emails from other artists (they hit "reply all" so we all saw) who were also very upset and having trouble contacting the gallery to retrieve their work. Never again!

The Art of Emotions Gallery showcases a variety of emerging and established artists that will appeal to many art lovers and collectors. Its mission is unique, as is well explained on their website. It is located in a pleasant, accessible neighborhood. I appreciated the opportunity to participate in the recent Faded But Beautiful exhibition. I wish much success to Dr. Valentin and her gallery and hope to participate in future exhibits.

As an artist, I can say that Art of Emotions Gallery is a great place to show. Irina and her staff are very helpful and enthusiastic in welcoming artists top show. Nice facilities and great showing space.
