The best hair salon I’ve ever been too!! All the stylists are sweethearts and make you feel very welcomed. Not to mention the hair stylist Shamiran does an amazing job with all types of hair! I’ve gone to other hair stylists for a blonde balayage and it always turns brassy or yellow but not with Shamiran. Her work is incredible and her cuts are also amazing!! I will no longer go to any other hair stylist and would recommend 100%

Shamira is the absolute best, I've never had a better hair cut. From the first time I dropped by, I showed her what I was looking to do and she told me how we were going to get there. A few visits later we're now maintaining that perfect do!

I decided to come here to die my hair for the first time in my life and she made the experience very negative. When I initially did a consultation through insta DM she told me my hair would cost $360 which is reasonable and decided to drive from Mississauga and come to her out of all the other places. She then tells me in store that my hair would cost over $500. which is way higher than what she told me. I WAS AT HER SALON FOR 10 HOURS JUST TO GET MY HAIR DONE.!!!! it should not take that long. I left the salon really upset as my hair was not the standard for the price I paid. parts of my hair are orange and is not the blonde I had asked for. She scheduled me for an appointment only for me to come from Mississauga to find out she is closed for the day. she did not give me notice that she would be closed EVEN THO SHE TOLD ME TO COME IN THAT DAY. I told her that I booked off of work and drove from Mississauga and she did not feel bad for me at all and got mad over it. She started raising her voice and hanging up not taking customer inquiries into consideration. She is money hungry and will not care about your hair as long as she has taken your money. I will not go back to her as I FEAR SHE WILL MESS UP MY HAIR ON PURPOSE. IF YOU WANT TO GO SOMEWHERE RELIABLE AND WORTH THE ARM AND LEG YOU SPEND TO GET YOUR HAIR DONE GO ELSEWHERE AS SHE DOES NOT DESERVE THE MONEY AND HER SERVICE AND SKILLS ARE NO WHERE NEAR WHAT SHE CHARGES. I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS AND WAS FORCED TO DO THIS TO WARN OTHER PEOPLE FROM MAKING THE SAME DECISION I MADE THAT I REGRET.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SOLAN. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I’m still in shock at her discriminatory remarks towards Arabs clients, specifically Iraqis. Shamiran was extremely rude and unprofessional to not only clients but to the staff as well, talking down and yelling at them in front of everyone to hear and see. Save yourself the money and bad energy. I’d advise anyone inquiring costly services to go else where positive, professional and up to standards. My 1st visit in Dec was fine, not the friendliest but I was happy with my hair. I retuned mid July for roots and a straight trim. Though she rushed the consult, I was very clear on what I wanted stating “I want the same as last time; straight bob but keep the length and light on the roots”. As a professional you should know the toner (colour) you previously used on a returning client, she did not. Considering the colour was not in the shade range inquired, I kindly asked if we could change the toner. I was shocked when she began to raise her voice at me, stating “you didn’t say that, you wanted to match the roots with bottom. I matched it” etc, when in fact she did not! Finally she agreed. I was extremely patience appreciative and understanding of the fact she was busy and short staffed. I was good with the new toner, until she began to cut my hair into layers. I kindly reminded her I’d like a straight bob, she replied “Oo I thought you wanted layers”. The trim took a total of 2-3 minutes, maybe less, left me with uneven ends. I was at the salon from 10am till 645pm!! When it came time to pay, she over charged by $100 for simply changing the toner, giving me an uneven trim and taking more than 7hours of my time which I spend most of it waiting. When I asked for a reasonable price, she started yelling at me saying “this is the price, if you don’t like it, don’t return and don’t send me referrals, I don’t need more clients”. I was baffled by her respond. As I waited for my ride, I was appalled to hear her racist remarks towards Arab clients, specifically Iraqi, stating “ I don’t want Arab clients, especially Iraqi clients, I’ll take any clients but no Iraqis”, further referring to them as “picky, difficult and cheap”. I’ve worked in the customer service and sales industry for 13+ years, this is beyond unacceptable! I don’t like to write reviews but since I was not the only nor last client treated poorly I had to let it be known this experience has to be by far the worst!

Edit: I find it interesting that the most recent negative reviews (at this time, posted 5 months ago) are all rants, in the same tone, similar word length, and aggressive CAPS lock. And what’s SAD about this is that I was in the salon the day it happened.. where a nasty family member is clearly airing their dirty laundry on a business page. These accusations of Shamira’a work being fake / photoshopped are totally untrue because I’m one of those blondes posted on her page and it’s 100% accurate. You may be misinterpreting a ring light on the daytime setting just to compensate for cloudy days or low lighting but it’s by no means editing the actual colours of my hair. My initial colour when I wrote the review below was AMAZING. My follow-up appointments have been flawless. I’ll be completely honest… yes….I’ve waited a while in the salon too. But the world doesn’t revolve around my schedule nor does Shamira do basic highlights. Over 90% of her clients are major transformations and colour corrections, or in my case going 10 levels lighter in one sitting while keeping it healthy. Her products are exceptional and her colouring technique after 3+ appointments is consistent and amazing. I like to keep it classy and not mention prices….but girls if you think blonde colour services + styling should go for less than $400, you should consider a different look and maybe driving to northern Ontario where it might be a tiny bit cheaper. W O W ! Grateful I found this salon through Instagram ads. If you are a well-informed client you will LOVE Shamira & her team. Meticulous, perfectionist, and experts in blonde. Shamira will lift your blonde to the heavens and protect the integrity of your hair. I did months of research for an expert to take my virgin root-to-tip brown hair to buttery blonde balayage. Shamira understood my vision and undertones to my skin (really hard to find foundation matches and blonde can be tricky) and delivered beyond what I thought was even possible. High quality products only, and her prices are extremely fair (hence why I said well-informed client!) The entire team is so sweet, they will stop at nothing to share your joy. Hardest working team with the best results!

Absolutely over charged and not worth it. It says 220➕ for balayage on website and at the end they charged me 480 plus tax. No cutting no curly style at all. Be careful. Ask the real price first before u go waist ur time. And the result is really average. I been to so many better salon in the city. Dont go here

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hair salon. I got my hair done here last year but decided to write this review to save anyone else from going through this. The bad reviews are real. I found this hair salon on Instagram. My appointment was at 12pm. They had me there till 9pm. When it was time to pay my bill came out to $690 I was shocked but she did some calculations on her phone by hour and that’s what it came out to. I’ve had my hair done at many high end salons in Toronto and the price ranges from $300-400. They had me sitting for a long time over processing my hair which ended up damaging it very badly and the colour was OK at best. Not worth the $$. Save your money and time and just go to a reputable salon. Very sketchy and unprofessional salon just go get highlights somewhere else and don’t worry about instant results. It’s better to just get highlights elsewhere that won’t fry your hair and cost a fortune.
