Va même passer du temps à diagnostiquer au téléphone, sans frais, pour éviter qu'on se pointe à son garage pour rien!
Very honest and competent. Solved an electrical problem with my Civic for $ 100 for which a mechanic had charged me $ 300 without fixing anything (it had even made the situation worse).
Will even spend time diagnosing on the phone, free of charge, to prevent us from showing up at his garage for nothing!

J'ai pris un rendez-vous par téléphone pour un problème électrique. L'homme me demande si je vais lui laisser l'auto pour la journée et je répond oui.
Environ deux jours plus tard je m'aperçois que je devrai rester sur place car je n'ai plus personne pour me ramener à la maison. Le rendez-vous est seulement dans environ 15 jours alors je téléphone au garage. Personne ne répond alors je laisse un message à cet effet en mentionnant de me rappeler s'il y avait un problème avec le fait que je reste sur place pendant les réparations puisque je n'ai plus personne pour me ramener.
Le jour du rendez-vous je me présente à mon rendez-vous car je n'ai pas été rappelé, présumant passer à 8h30 comme prévue.
Je suis un peu avant l'ouverture alors j'attends à l'avant. Un homme qui travaille vraisemblablement au garage arrive.
Je descend de l'auto en même temps que lui. Aucune salutation de sa part. Il entre, fait le code de l'alarme et va derrière son comptoir. Il se retourne et me regarde sans rien dire comme on regarde un colporteur dérangeant à l'heure du souper.
Je lui explique la raison pour laquelle je suis là.
Il m'explique que j'étais supposé laisser mon auto et qu'il en a au moins pour 3 ou 4 heures avant de me prendre.
Quand je lui dis que je lui avais laissé un message et qu'il devait me rappeler s'il y avait un problème avec le fait que je reste sur place il n'avait rien à dire. Aucune excuse ou justification, rien ...
Je vois dans ses yeux que je suis toujours le même colporteur dérangeant.
Je suis donc partit.

I made an appointment by phone for an electrical problem. The man asks me if I'm going to give him the car for the day and I answer yes.
About two days later I realize that I will have to stay there because I have no one left to take me home. The appointment is only in about 15 days so I phone the garage. Nobody answers so I leave a message to this effect by mentioning to remind me if there was a problem with the fact that I remain on site during the repairs since I have no one to bring me back.
The day of the appointment I show up for my appointment because I have not been called back, presuming to come by 8:30 am as planned.
I am a little before the opening so I wait at the front. A man who probably works in the garage arrives.
I get out of the car at the same time as him. No greeting from him. He enters, dials the alarm code and goes behind his counter. He turns around and looks at me silently as one looks at a disturbing peddler at supper time.
I explain to him why I am here.
He explains to me that I was supposed to leave my car and that he has at least 3 or 4 hours before picking me up.
When I told him that I had left him a message and that he had to remind me if there was a problem with my staying put, he had nothing to say. No excuse or justification, nothing ...
I see in his eyes that I'm still the same disturbing peddler.
So I left.
