Always been very happy with the services and staff, they have been very compassionate and helpful despite the pandemic. I just really wish they had put out a newsletter or emailed clients about their price increases, recently we had to have an emergency euth done, and it was 3x the prices we had paid before. The receptionist let us know on the phone as we were on our way in, but a heads up when the prices actually changed would have been appreciated as we could prepare for that.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Brianne Appleby was extremely thorough with my cat's exam and offered two avenues of treatment to suit our budget. I was impressed with her attention to detail and genuine care for my pet's wellbeing.

I was able to reach the staff who kindly informed me that they were no longer accepting new doggy clients. She referred me to McNeely Animal Hospital. I was able to set up an appointment and became a new patient ! Thank you so much for ur reference and kindness over the phone !

I’d give you a zero if I could….. I walked into this place Saturday with our little Morkie who had just been malled by a big dog and death shaken for 20 min until I got him out him out of that dogs mouth!! Secretary says oh boy let me ask cause your not a client here!!! And you don’t have an appointment!! She come’s out of vets office and says sorry you’ll have to go to Ottawa!! Where is animal compassion here, those folks could care less about out little guy wether he lived or died. At least a compassionate vet would say OMG poor thing I know I don’t have time for this right now but at least I could assess him real quick!! Unbelievable people like this in business today I will plant this all over social media!’ New in town we have 3 dogs and man am I glad I found out about these compassion less people!! Anyone reading this should never take there dogs to such a place!

When you and your pet are in distress, the thought of an emergency service at an animal hospital is a great comfort. My oldest dog was quite ill, having seizures or some neurological event. I walked into the hospital on Friday May 20 at 8:30 am. The lady at reception was busy with a call and I waited patiently and politely. When I explained that we were at the end of my old girl’s life, she looked coldly and disinterested and said they were “too busy”. She said the vet would be in at 9, but there was lots going on. I explained, from experience, that the end of her life would happen quickly - I have been down this road before. She coldly remarked, “it can take sometimes 45-60 minutes for a pet to pass”. Frustrated and very disappointed I left, alone, with a compromised pet, to Ottawa. How pleasant to drive there in this circumstance! I was treated kindly in Ottawa, with sensitivity. My girl was not a patient. They welcomed me, the vet and techs were wonderful. Following reception of sedation by needle / syringe, they gave a few moments for her to rest easier. When the final drugs were given to her, she passed in about, literally 10 seconds! The Arnprior Animal Hospital was a disaster. Cold, unprofessional, unfriendly, dismissive. I would never THINK of bringing my pet there ever again. How you treat people and their pets at very challenging moments says everything about a place. AAH failed horribly.

New to the area with my fur baby. Only Vet. group accepting patients in the area. Had a 3 week wait list but well worth the wait. Needed to get annual physical exam, vaccines, 3 yr. Rabies and got first of 2 Lyme prevention shots. All were welcoming and took great and gentle care of my boy. Great front office staff, Vet Techs. & Vet.
