On Saturday I just needed a pair of earrings really quickly. Walked in, grabbed what I wanted, went to the till. And then stood there at the till for 5 minutes (not an exaggeration) before someone who was standing behind me fiddling with stuff says "oh are you ready to check out?" After replying yes She goes away for about a minute, comes back and starts fiddling with merchandise again. About another minute later the cashier came and rang up my items. Seriously? The longest part of the transaction was standing there waiting for someone to take my money. I no longer wonder why so many people steal from here. Please get a bell for people to ring when they need service or pay better attention to your customers.

I went to Ardenes looking for a few pairs of pants with my mom and shortly after arriving, we began to feel uneasy. The only employee on at the time would not stop watching us. First it was from a distance, but then she began to rudely cut right in front of us to fold the stacks of pants as if to see what we had with us. We had a couple of bags with us from shopping at another store and were also holding some of the pants we were going to buy. We continued to walk around the store to look at the some of the other clothes. The employee's gaze still did not waver from us. She kept walking past us to see what we had in our hands. Everytime I turned around she was looking at us. The entire time we were shopping we felt like we were being treated like criminals instead of customers. There were other customers in the store, yet her only focus was us. There were a couple pair of pants I was unsure about, so I waited with my mom at the change room. As we were waiting two security guards approached us. The employee quickly ran over to talk to the security guards. After the employee finished talking to them, she helped me with the change room. I had two pairs of pants to try on and she inspected them along with the change room very carefully. I'd like to add in that the change room was not clean and left dirt marks on my clothes. While I was trying the clothes on I had two security guards posted outside of the changeroom. Still, I ended up spending over $50 dollars at the store. The employee just threw the pants I purchased into the bag instead of folding them which I found rude, especially since she had everything else so carefully folded in the store. The checkout counter must of been quite dirty too because when I got home I noticed a blue pen ink stain on one of the pairs of pants I bought that was not there prior to checkout. I am too afraid to go back to the store about it though because I'm not sure if this time I will be arrested for no reason. The treatment my mom and I received while we were shopping left my mom and I very upset. We did absolutely nothing wrong, yet were silently accused of being thieves when we were just regular customers. My mom called the head office of the mall and it was confirmed that the employee did call the security on us. It is not right for your employees to embarrass and harass customers in this way. Everytime I shop at this location with this employee on she is very rude, but this is the last straw for me. I will no longer shop at this Ardenes location again, and possibly not shop at Ardenes in general. I'd rather pay more for clothes at different stores if it means being treated like a customer instead of a criminal.

very bad customer service. came in today with my mom and a worker treated us with very bad attitude. dont know her name, but shes short and had blonde hair in a bun. she was very rude and kept staring at us and she made faces at us. i work in retail as well and i know not to treat my customer like this. i am definetley going to tell all my friends and family to not go to your store. i hope she gets fired and you guys hire a much nicer and welcoming worker.
